Dude that drive train setup is a genius! So simple and effective to move that chain line over just enough, love it! Can't wait to see more on this bike! Rock on!
I guess you've been playing with track width at the back to get the goldilocks results? Very interesting stuff mr trisled. I can imagine 4 wheels will be lots more traction in the corner. Cant wait for some data or even a riders comparison thoughts of the feel of difference between 3 and 4 wheels.
Just throwin' this out there, I might be way off track, but, hear me out... Two wheeled velomobile! 😂 Less wheels and weight then a three wheeler, and faster through corners too!
Two wheeled covered recumbent bicycle is called streamliner. It's not velomobile precisely because of two wheels. Velomobile has to have at least three.
Bigger wheels aren't as strong, twist makes tail wag which is pretty unsettling at the right speed and cadence combination. Too light a frame at the back end gives the same effect- my first trike, a Greenspeed GT3 did it bad. Bought a new Magnum Big Wheel which is so much better and doesn't do it with its heavy rigid frame (it's faster too!)
@@TriSledIn Europe the older Velomobiles have a 26inch (ETRTO 559) rearwheel. And since the MTBs change to 29er there are no god tires anymore. So they change to ETRTO 584 and ETRTO 622. Several records are set with theese velomobiles.

Love this. Great video. Really like to ride one, one day!
Nice work mate. Enjoy watching the development of innovative ideas
Is that ice packs under the seat? Secret squirrel technology to cool the riders?
Details in a future video😊
Cheers bloke
Cool bike!

Fabulous! Just what I wish someone would make. Is there really that much aero advantage to staggering the track width?

Have you developed these farther resently ?
Where i can buy this amazing machine?
ACE!
2 questions: why not 26’’ wheels at the rear? No camber on the rear wheels off the 4 wheeler?
We haven’t seen a 26” wheel in a racing HPV since the 90’s! For many very good reasons. Not least space.

Wait a second... Are both wheels geared or is it, one geared wheel and a redundant wheel???
fairly sure only the left wheel is driven, 0;44 in the video shows it pretty clearly
