Over the past year or so, I have been wearing less and less make up and I think I finally stopped. I only stopped wearing make up for myself and I still have a ways to go. I'm not perfect and I want to do better, but I really want to be a role model that you can have spots and still be beautiful. Media and social media can be so toxic to people's mental health. I used to think I was so ugly and scary and an actual monster.. all because I have spots. It's crazy! Anyway, in this video, I talk to you about growing up, wearing make up at school, buying make up 5 years ago and how I now want to only wear make up when I want to, not when I feel like I have to. I also want to start looking at clean beauty and only shop with plastic free & vegan brands so that I am doing better for the environment and for my skin! Basically, in this video I talk to you about why I stopped wearing make up!

Haven't seen a single one of these videos made by someone with light natural lashes or brows. No hate to you but I never understood why people who were with naturally dark lashes and brows ever wore makeup in those places. Just goes to show how pushed and commercialized make up has been
Yeah it really does. We are made to feel like we are never enough and that we need all this extra stuff to be “worth it” or “normal”. It’s so sad.

Hey ! French girl here (so sorry for spelling mistakes). I've been feeling so bad about my appearance lately. I've never been insecure in my entire life, but since I started to get mean comments from my bf, I felt the need to change, to become prettier...and I started to wear makeup. It almost became a passion, but also a real prison.
I try to work on myself and your message is powerful and very helpful, especially since I feel like this kind of content is lacking on the French ytb. All the best ❤
Oh I’m so sorry you feel like this! Don’t listen to your bf. You don’t NEED make up! If you enjoy it and have fun with it, then you do you! But you shouldn’t feel pressured into wearing it! Maybe say something like how you don’t like the mean comments! ❤️
