DSW means Designer Shoe Warehouse... I've never been in one of their stores, but I have purchased shoes online from DSW for my husband. I believe some places carry extra large women's shoes for men who like to wear women's clothing etc...
Interesting that you get money for recyclables. I don't think it's done that way anywhere in Connecticut. In the town where I live, we pay $30 for an annual windshield permit sticker to bring our trash and glass/plastic/paper to the town's Transfer Station (aka Dump). Household trash goes in one giant dumpster, and recyclables go in a separate dumpster. The only thing we get money back on are soda and other beverage cans and bottles (10 cents per can/bottle), which we bring back to the store where purchased... When my husband's mobility first failed, I was paying a trash service to pick up our barrels of trash and recyclables at the roadside. When it got up to almost $600.00 per year, I cancelled the service and started bringing our trash to the dump. I really don't mind this chore. I usually make the very short trip once a week if the weather is good. Otherwise, I wait until another day.
I used to sell my cans but the price went down so much, it cost more in gas to take them! Ive got that book. Like the glasses 😊 Have a good day❤
