- Welcome to another month of Creative Edge 'Techniques'!! A tutorial feature on one of the techniques used in my monthly Creative Edge article!
In this month's video, I show my step by step process of cauterizing flowers to prepare them for use in flowers to wear! I used this technique throughout all 3 pieces from this month's Creative Edge article (available to view at www.hitomigill...) and everything held up amazingly!
I hope this helps in your own flowers to wear pieces!
Thanks again and keep on look out for future videos, including a FULL Start to Finish Tutorial of my 'Sassy Modern' Flower Pillbox Hat, coming this Wednesday!! (Thanks and Make SURE TO SUBSCRIBE!)

Thanks for watching!! Xxx
Of course:)
A must know. Xxx
Do you use FloralLife finishing touch or just pure water to moist the flower heads?
While keeping the flowers in the cooler, just mist with plain water so they hydrate through the petals. But just before the flowers get delivered, they should then be sprayed with finishing touch Or crowning glory to seal the flower surface. Xxx
@@HitomiGilliam thank you
Is 24 hours in the cooler enough time before using?
Any amount of time in the cooler before using is good. 24 hours makes huge difference in turgidness- you can feel how fully hydrated the flower is. Xxx
I grow flowers...and secretly deliver my pathetic attempts to people who are sad or just because I THINK THEY MAY NEED A HAPPY SURPRISE...and am ALWAYS IN AWE WHAT U DO WITH THEM...my big failing is the design ....But i have never had anyone.refuse.them...and unlike veggies i use to.give.away i know they are REALLY APPRECIATED...THANKS for trying to help others WITH ZERO ABILITY learn....funny how good spreads so silently....but HATE spreads quickly and violently...
Of course I have to keep cost way way down
Thanks for watching!! Hope these tips are helpful ! Xxx
