I did it on PS4 and XBOX Series X controller on PC. There is no way to customize the button mapping also the aiming (L2/LT) cannot be map in game. Both controllers have to press at least 50% (according to gamepad tester) to have input which hinder the travel distance of the trigger. I would have to tap the left trigger in fast motion with my left arm to do a rapid fire.
