3:17 I think it’s going to be a hen because of how small it’s comb and wattle are, and how it’s tail is curved down at the time. You guys are great. Hope your doing good.
I love how relaxed you both are as parents in terms of the boys interacting with the animals. I find it so admirable that the two of you, regardless of the age of each boy, allow such close interaction between them and the animals. I love that the children are so involved, from the gathering of the eggs, and all the following care beyond. As sad as it is to have a loss, be it from the earliest stages or later in life, you allow the boys to experience the complete cycle and that is so important, not a lot of children in today's society are fortunate enough to experience the farm living and outdoor living that your family is so blessed to have. Anyway I guess what I was originally was getting at is that some parents would be really excitable and concerned about either the child's health or harming the little babies but your boys are so well behaved and gentle because of how you raise them n also it's nice you don't sanitize the kids to death!
"Good job. You didn't die." As a mom of 4 boys, I use that same statement all the time! 😂😂 Looking forward to see what all hatches! Isaiah and the cat were so cute! ❤
Isaiah is getting so big and really starting to resemble his brothers. I like the duck names you’ve chosen. It will be interesting to see who pairs up.
You should name one of the mandarin males Vinnie. Vinnie was a man that I spent some time with at the nursing home I volunteered at. He is the one who introduced me to the idea of farming and growing and raising all of your own food. He had a picture of a mandarin duck in his room and he passed recently. We watched your videos together and it would be amazing for me to watch him live on through your videos.
Opened UA-cam to do my college assignment, ended up watching all your EMU Videos, You guys are really awesome. Great Job Guys!!! Keep up the good Work!!
Love the video. We hatched 3 Ayam Cemani and a White Bresse and now I have 7 Golden Campine in the incubator with a couple Cochins. We just got our first egg 4 days ago. I’m thinking from our silver lace Wyandotte, Pepper and shes had an egg a day with the exception of yesterday. Can’t wait to see what your Ayam Cemani and Silkie crosses look like. Hatching is so exciting!
We love your videos. We were remarking that all 3 of your boys look alike. I think more then most brothers. That is so cool. It may not stay that way, but for now.... Thay are all very handsome. And a combination of you both. Your videos are so fun and we love the music that you choose. Keep up the fun. It's so fun watching the Emu's racing with the boys. I wonder if all Emu's are this playful? 🤔😊🤗💖
If you have enough space you could make a sanctuary for the peacocks. So it could be a greenhouse/barn with a bunch of trees and bushes in it. Not only would it look nice the peacocks might enjoy being in there at night more.
LOL. Those Emus look like really happy, fancy Boas when they hop around like that. Spoiler Alert: Eli breaks land speed record 10 years from now due to Emu training. LOL
We use a Yeti Goal Zero 1200 power bank and a marine battery with alligator clips connected to an inverter so we don't have to worry about losing power and can plug 110s into it. We're in rural Northern California where we lose power and have earthquakes all the time. We're sort of used to it now. :)
What a great idea! Can't wait for the results!! But then you'll have to figure out who's who! I'm really looking forward to finding out who the newest members of the White House on the Hill family are! 💓💛💚💙💜🌈
Ugh this makes me want to hatch more, I have 19 bantams of majority silkies, 20 large breeds, a turkey, 10 silkie babies and a mix baby. No room to hatch right now but this spring I’ll let the silkies incubate for me! Love your videos! 🐣
My son Eli loves your UA-cam videos and he found your pictures in the Murray McMurray Hatchery book. Your birds can be found on pages 42 (Annie), 46 (Top of Page big picture), 47 (Big Red Broiler-3 pictures) and 61 (Fire the red golden pheasant)
My sister saw me watching you guys and said “aren’t you terrified of birds especially chickens “ 😂😂😂 I am but I just love watching you guys complete projects ❤️❤️
Still my favorite one of your videos has got to be Cashew and Peekaboo being born (: although Bamboo’s birth video comes pretty close. Can’t wait for more videos!!
I’m going to warn you right now (of course unless you like black chickens) But I’ve hatched out some Ayam Cemani mixes and the hens I got the eggs from where brown and full of colors with no black but all the chicks turn out completely black everyone onE of them, it may be different for y’all but I can’t wait for the babies!!! Good luck!
Really excited for these to hatch in 21 days time. I love doing pot luck hatches where you don’t know what you will get out. There will definitely be some weird and wonderful hybrids in this hatch!
I laughed out loud with Eli getting over the log and you said, "Eli did die!" He's all boy. I don't know anything about raising chickens. How do you determine eggs are a good candidate for incubation?
I know this came out a while ago- but we are hatching out Black Polish crossed with a Blue Laced Wyandotte. I’m so excited to see them when they’re older!
We've mixed Lavender A. AC and Silkie to get a lavender with black eyes, and five toes. They are so cute, and lay beautiful blue eggs. The second gen three way birds all had the silkie feather type. It is very worth the time and effort. They are great pets, and egg layers
I have a hatch day coming in a couple days. it's my first and I'm so excited and nervous. We have a cream legbar crossed with an orpington and novogens. I have no idea what to expect for feather and egg color. We bought chicks the same time our buff went broody so we are going to have 20 chicks.... Madness but not compared to you beautiful homestead, you have given me hope. Thank you.
"good job, you didnt die"
My life motto
The banner that greets you when you come home from a grueling, mind-numbing day at retail.
I thought your *"Profile"* was gacha life lmao.
Words no live by. Not dying is always good.
That's so 13 year old me when I get inside the turkey enclosure and get out unscathed.
Oh my isn’t that so true
Emus do absolutely the weirdest things with their heads when they are running. It's like their heads are barely attached.
Those emus are fascinating--especially their feathers. When they molt, could you show some of the feathers up close?
The last time I was this early,Bamboo was still an egg😅
Yrylle Rishene Antalan - haha!
Hahaha
White House on the Hill I was struggling to find your vids and now it popped up on my recommended and I’m addicted
White House on the Hill :>
Last time I saw him lurked was dead
The emus really just like to glitch sometimes with their necks huh? XD
lmao
That's how they defeated Australia in Emu war
The emus is not glitching there heads are swinging
@@paulgray5099 glitch is a term used like ‘swinging’ not just the internet

Isiah petting the kitty at the end was so sweet!! 💜💜💜He looked so amazed by her beauty! Adorable!
The lavender Orpington is a rooster. He is just slow about growing his comb out.
Bamboo has been glitching her neck and it’s so funny it looks like she is playing so well and where that
came from I LAUGHED TO DEATH 😂
