Too bad you had trouble with it. I've had mine for over a year no problem with it. But it was not set up by trucks cb ,I've heard bad things a out him . I went through cb shop 1995. In Ky. Mine is tite and right..
I use a rci 2950dx mobile and it's hooked up to a power supply I use it as a base station I bought it from copper electronics I had it peaked and tuned and re aligned and it's dead on frequency and I have talked all over the USA on it and I don't use a linear either and I use an antron 99 it's about 50 foot up in the air
Its a ranger they are prone for frequency drift and bad solderjoints!i have a rci ranger ss3900 and besides the problems it have it is build like a tank running now 3 fqp13n10 and much better rx then those smt noiseboxes that are now on the market!73 from 31lr176
My volume is there for 1/2 second then fades out you can just barley here anything wide open . Where do i need to look or what is the most obvious to look for a cap? HELP Thanks
Maybe you can help I have a RCI 2990 with a RCI 2995 bored inside it radio itself is doing no more than one quarter 1 wt no modulation ssb is the same will modulation
