I need a little bit more direction when you say after you do the very first strand to make a note it looks like you’re actually putting your needle through the top bead but I can’t tell because if camera angle exactly how you’re knotting it or where you’re knotted it at
Search for open circle stud earrings. Also you can use a 6mm or 8mm closed jump ring and attach it to any ear wire instead of the pricier studs. Make sure the jump rings are labeled closed. That kind won't open up and ruin your work.

I just want to let you know that you don’t really need music in your video, your instructions had my attention and to be honest the music was a little bit distracting.
