Thank you. Best video I've seen on how to make these earrings. Precise and to the point!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
Finally! An awesome tutorial for this earring style ❤
Such a clear & easy video to learn from, I do the other kinda tassels with brick stitch, but thought I’d give these ago, my initial thought was that looks easy as, but on watching a couple of videos so far there are different ways of doing this, each with their own tips & tricks, but I think I’ll be coming back to see yours!
Tena koe no Aotearoa (means thank you from New Zealand)
I have seen these earrings on Pinterest and searched for how to make them and then found you. Great instructions thank you so much they really are gorgeous I have subbed too xx
That same thing happened to me. I am so glad I found this tutorial.
Thank you so much, great tutorial.

Love this tutorial. 😁. Have made so many tassel bead earrings but yours gives me that warm fuzzy feeling in how you secure and tie all the ends up.. Just gorgeous... Have followed and look forward to more. 👍🙌💕
Thank you so much!
You make it look so easy!
Practice makes perfect! I've made so many of these I can't even count haha. But you best believe the first few pairs took Forever and looked like a hot mess haha
Loved the demo!
Thank you!
Excellent instructor

Yay!! Thank you so much! Have fun!!
How big is the tassel cap/cone? Very pretty. And thank you for the tutorial. When do you get more in your shop of the caps. It looks like most are sold out.
Any come about 4mm-8mm would work. The ones I used in this video are no longer available.
Beautiful! Thanks for the tips can’t wait to try to make them!!!
Yay!! Thank you!
Love this tassel!
Thank you!!
I love this tutorial! What kind of material do you use to work on and place the beads on? I used felt and it sticks to the needle and so difficult to get the beads from. Thank you!

Awesome easy tutorial to follow! Thank you 😊 💓
Is there a list of supplies to make these? I went to your site and don't see it on there

@CapitalCityBeads. What is the cone size for this earring? Thank you in advance ❤️
Amazing! I can’t wait to try your way.
These are so cute! I was going to ask on your IG if you were selling just the tutorial, but here it is! Free! Thank you! PS - I met you a bunch of years ago at the Hawaii SoftFlex bead show, you bought Halloween beads from me. ❤️
OMG!!!! I cant believe you remember me!!! I totally LOVE your beads! I will find you on IG!
I love these!
Thank you!
If I have no wire would an eye pin work?
Yes an eye pin will totally work. Just be mindful of the opening. YOur thread may slip through. But its no biggy just push it away from the opening when you come to the top and you will be fine.
Would 24 gauge wire work?
Can I use fire line?
I would not. Fireline is more ridged and stuff and your fringe will not be flowy.
Here is my favorite thread for soft flowing fringe.
www.capitalcitybeads.com/stringing-material/thread/nymo/
you took whole length of thread enough for 8 lines,at the beginning itself? am i correct?
One whole piece of thread for one earring.
@@Beadsmakemehappy Thank you🌿
Can we buy that wire in beginning?
www.capitalcitybeads.com/wire/craft-wire/
any tips on keep thread from tangling?
Practice! Moving slowly and having a very clear workspace so it doesn't get caught on anything while you work.
Awesome! I love this ty
You are so welcome!!
These are so cute ☺️
Beautiful ❤️ can u tell me please which
Tread do u use? 😊
Hello! I am using Nymo. Here is a link to all of the supplies. www.capitalcitybeads.com/tutorials/earrings/rustic-brass/
Thank you Excellent video!! 🙂
Thank you!!!
Beautiful earrings. Thank you for sharing What kind of thread are you using?
Nylon thread.
I am using Nymo Size B Thread. Here is a link! www.capitalcitybeads.com/stringing-material/thread/nymo/
Can you use long eye pins? Instead of wire?
Yes. But eye pins have a slight opening and your thread could slip out. As long as you are aware and keep your thread away from the opening you will be ok. Just glue glue glue so the threads can't move into that opening and fall out. This is why I prefer a fully closed wire wrap
Can we skip the glue. I hate having this type of glue in my home and the smell is awful when using. Will it fall apart without glue?
If you tie the knots correctly and very tight you should be ok. You can also use any glue that you are comfortable with. I love hypo cement because it only smells for a moment, dries clear and does not stick to your skin like super glue. Using it outside or in a well ventilated room is a must.
Thank you for sharing with us........ Questions, what size cone is this? Can I use E6000 glue?
E6000 is fantastic for jewellery and polymer clay. I use it all the time. 💚🇦🇺
I prefer Hypo Cement over e6000. It has a tiny needle applicator and dries clear. E600 is great for gluing things onto other things but it gets kinda clumpy when it comes to thread. But since this is going to be hidden by the cone, GO FOR IT!
What are those bead colors? 😍
www.capitalcitybeads.com/tutorials/earrings/
What size beads are used here please!
Hello! These are size 11/0 Czech glass beads. www.capitalcitybeads.com/seed-beads/czech-glass/size-11-0/
What gauge wire is best for wrap…?
22ga or 20ga. Is best. 24ga might be a little flimsy for this design
Thanks so beautiful !!
What's the name of the needle? You did an amazing job. Love them 💕
I used our Big Eye Needle. It's super easy to thread.
Just one question... Why do you decrease 1 bead for the first and second colour.... In the 2nd tassel onwards.? 😁
I start with my longest tassel first so I can set my max length. I decrease one or two beads as I go to achieve a tapered look.
@@Beadsmakemehappy and is this just for the second string of beads , or do you continue to decrease with the other strings?
@capitalcitybeads yes I just watched your video but I was stumped and had the same question as well. Do you continue to decrease with the other strands until you've done the last strand? Awesome work and great instructions by the way. 😊
Where can I get the needle you are using
All of the supplies in my videos can be found at www.capitalcitybeads.com ♥️
Thank you
You're welcome!
Great tutorial thank you
you are so welcome!!
What size Nymo thread?
Nymo Size B is my favorite size www.capitalcitybeads.com/stringing-material/thread/nymo/
Hello - how do you know which size cone to use? Thank you :) x
Hello! The cones in this video are available on my website www.capitalcitybeads.com under Findings. But any cone will work it’s up to you ans your design. The bigger the cone the more strands you’ll have to bead to fill it up!
@@Beadsmakemehappy Thank you for replying ☺️
making tassel with crimp at end
For this technique you don't need any crimps! No need for extra metal or weight. Crimps can also cut into thread and cause breakage. Crimps are great with stainless steal beading wire such as soft flex! ❤️
What size needle is this?
You can use a size 10 or a big eye.
