it seems like a commercial video. From what i saw in other true testing video is that the robot do not cover the all area it leave dead area. It not remove hard stains from the floor. some of them left.
I'm testing it currently and the navigation is pretty bad. It also does not completely clean an area. Try scattering some rice in a 3x3 square foot area and send it out of a zone cleaning and you will see. It will leave lines of rice untouched.
One day when I don’t have time for a regular vacuum cleaner, I will definitely buy Ecovacs Ddebot X2 Omni. And I will be happy!) Thanks Erin for the great review. This robot vacuum cleaner is truly powerful and functional.
a few things i would love to know which have not been addressed here: 1,) would it fall off the stairs? 2.) does it do a good jobs of picking up pet hairs and dust from cat litter (shine UV light on the spot cleaned) 3.) does it avoid stuff like cat puke. it would be awful to suck it into the vacuum part
It avoids stairs. All robots do no way. It's great for pet hair and I think it would get the litter too (a good test for future bots for me). It would not know to avoid cat vomit. iRobot bots can avoid poop but not sure about other stuff.
Thanks for the review! Im looking forward to testing one in my home in the future. Currently I am rocking the Dreame L10s Ultra. We will see how this compares.
Can it elevate? My bathrooms and laundry has a 21mm height. Website says x2 can cross threshold up to 22mm. Mine couldn’t do it but it detected the bathroom and laundry during mapping.
I have a X2 Omni and I am trying to schedule different cleaning programs by day. I can't find the option to select the days. Am I missing something? The scheduling in the App only allows me to select a time and repeats at that time ...
I use the iRobot vacuum for 10 years now and never had any problems. They do work and make our lives a lot easier on the day to day, but you still need to do the weekly cleaning to make sure corners are properly vacuumed and that the floor is properly mopped with an actual mop.
I bought this last month. It is not vaccuming properly and not picking dust at all. It has horrible navigation. I called the support they recommended reset but no luck. I am going to return this. Waste of money
Terrible software and customer support is nonexistent. When they replied told me power off power on or update the software. But did not recognize the error codes. Unit starts then goes in open area and gets lost. Other times it would come off the base and told us to clear the path. Other times keeps bumping into the wall (yes, I had edge cleaning off). Batteries will not charge beyond 50% sometimes. I bought it at your recommendation. Please do not accept these freebies reviews and tarnish your channel’s reputation.
a very stupid and noisy robot. You can't sleep, I don't recommend buying it for people with allergies, it's as noisy as a substation. Travel back in time 10 years. He bumps into the furniture. After a week of use, it looks like my RoboRock $7 MaxV Ultra, which I have for one year. The EcoVacs Home app is freezing slow and in Eastern Europe the air quality information of the device or the sensor does not work. Bad product, you can buy better products for that money. A waste of money and a waste of time.

How does it compare to the t20?

Nice video! I love the Deebot X2. My favourite feature is that that you can mop and vacuum without taking the mop pads off.
Thank you so much! In the market for a robot vac/mop and your video is so helpful!

"cleaning machine". Good one! I see what you did there. 😂
:)
The mop pads actually do not get lifted all the way off the carpeting either.
Does it use same dust bags as X1 Omni? Ans how is it? I am planning to order
Does it leave water marks after mopping?

Yes it will climb over thresholds
Dang, great review. Now I contemplating on what to do with my X1 since I want the X2. 😂😂
DO NOT GET THE X2!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go down to schedule and slide the option Repeat… it will give you the days to choose from. Perhaps you need to update the app if you miss it?
Can the mop be detached at the station?
Does the bot itself have a water tank, or does it just use damp pads from the base station?
5.:47 there's an onboard water tank
the older vacuums didn't empty properly at all with hair, is this still a problem?
It handles my long hair, as well as long and short pet fur. My dogs shed A LOT and the vacuum has fixed it.
is it also dumb like AirBot Z1? uses the same navigation
Does Canada still have small denomination brass coins?
No
I have dog area rugs have dog hairs this Deebot X2 didn't pick up hairs on all rugs.
Ouch that price tag though...
great review
Do those smart vacuums really work? 🤨

Thanks Erin.

Tell us more...
Why do you act like we as consumers don’t have the right to return a product 💀 . Who cares, if you like it keep it or if you don’t then return it

How is it?
How do you like?
Who is Pascal and why does he always suck?
its an horrible robot vacuum I have so much to say but I am very upset right now. definitely returning..
Please elaborate… What issues are you having with it?

If it’s a sponsored review by ecovacs then i can’t take review seriously. It will be a bias review.

Interesting; you have both the Ecovacs X2 AND the RoborockS7 Max? And are you running them while you are sleeping? Seems like a strange choice.
