ECOVACS sent me a new replacement unit last week, 5/26/2024. The new replacement has a new brush head with improved blockers from hair tanglement at the rotation sides.
Our reviews are always based on our tests and experiences with the product. In our weeks of testing the X2 Omni we encountered no issues with the app and no navigational issues.
They updated the app and FW some issues are fixed but some are still here such as navigation issues for manually divided sections. And the workaround is to remove those sections and create another one. The hair still tangle at the longer metal rod end of the brush, so I wrapped some tape around to flatten the notch and it helps to remove the hair a lot easier. Obstacle avoidance is a hit or miss mostly due to hitting or pulling the obstacle from behind without camera when backing up
I don't believe they recommend hot water. You can add a cleaning solution, though their are limitations on which work. I wouldn't risk using anything other than the one Ecovacs sells - www.ecovacs.com/us/deebot-winbot-accessories/deebot-cleaning-solution-1l
@@ModernCastle I bought their cleaning solution but I didn't realized that they have specific solutions for each model. I hope it is still ok. Also, I assume that I have to add it to the clean water tank, because there's no compartment for the cleaning solution, and mix it with the clean water. Thank you very much for your quick reply!
@@claudiamallolroncal450 Unfortunately, I am unsure of that. I would follow their directions to the absolute letter, as it would be very easy to mess up the robot and void the warranty in the process.

Does it return to the dock when the internal bin is full then go back to where it left off?
