Sounds like "emergency" qualifies.
@@PrinceAlhorian that is true but most of the time it’s only an emergency landing if they declare one
@@PrinceAlhorian but some cases they could be too busy to declare one
It’s not detailed at all! They failed to mention the guy was tripping on mushrooms! Look it up

Homie’s intrusive thoughts won
There should be a security measure where the plane cannot be turned off mid flight.
The pilots have to have a way to shut down an engine in flight in event of damage or fire.
That would be extremely disasterous if a fire occurs
It would be the same as not being able to brake in a car...i hope i dont need to tell you why thats a horrible idea
worst idea ever.
Mans let the intrusive thoughts win
I've read books about what happens to a person's mind and body when they don't say "no" enough, and this seems like an example of the dark turn that the human psyche takes when it believes its not allowed to set boundaries.
people sometimes have and extremely hard time setting boundaries when they were taught the belief as children, that if they say "no", they won't be deserving of love. these people tend to repress their desire for rest until they can't repress it anymore, acting on an unconscious impulse to sabotage their own work in an attempt to make it stop.
the neighbors describe him as a person that takes on all these responsibilities outside of his already intense career. this honestly sounds like a case where a man just wanted a break and wasn't considering that this would cost many lives. regardless, he needs help
I allegedly watched this video while allegedly on my computer...
In this case, boeing's engine start lever is probably safer, because it's located right beside the captain and co pilot.
he went for the fire cutout, airbuses fire cutout is also on the overhead panel near the back
Is there usually an air marshal on board every plane now ?
As an aviation expert and a possibly future pilot, the makes me beyond furious. He absolutely has no regard for human life.
Maybe you shouldn't claim to be an "aviation expert" without any flight experience if you want to be taken seriously.
@@truthsRsung You can be an aviation expert if you build aircraft and design. Look at his profile pic, Boeing-McDonnell Douglas, just a guess but I would say an engineer who would like to scratch the piloting itch as well.
@@PrinceAlhorian ...I never put much stock in a profile pick.
My first thought when I read your comment was a Lactose Intolerant Dairy Farmer.
No need to get butt hurt here. You do understand my concern, yeah?
It shouldn't be an itch, in my opinion, it should be a basic part of your education.
Next we will have Lifeguards who can't swim, and chefs who eat to live, not live to eat.
Maybe we would have 373's that have a proper CG that aren't constantly held in the air by a computer if you spent some time with the birds.
Edit....Now you can feel offended.
Lol

Plane crash prank gone wrong, caught 83 charges?
Bro listened to his intrusive thoughts 😂
This is why ill never get on a plane. 😂
Driving is more dangerous
because your scared of someone shutting off the engines?
Insanity!
Emerson has been playing GTA too much
History almost repeated itself
this is why you never act on intrusive thoughts! this is dangerous!
How do you know it was "intrusive thoughts"? How do you know it wasn't premeditated?
You just can't trust anyone.
That’s not an attempted hijacking. That’s an attempt at suicide by plane crash.
When you cant resist your inner thoughts.
WTF
He acted on his impulsive thoughts which will now cost him his freedom😢
They shouldn't let any off duty pilots in the cockpit unless there's an emergency and they need a replacement.
It's how pilots get to and from work
@@TB-um1xz They can put them in the cabin.
makes sense that its 83 counts but just seeing that number is crazy, he's never getting out
There should create a system in place so that the engines can’t be turned off by anyone. It should not be that easy to switch off airplane engines. This should serve as a lesson.
That makes no sense… the engines have to be able to be turned on and off to taxi to the runway and throttled up to take off and the reverse on the way back… also if there is a problem with a fire or electrical they need to have the option to turn off the problem to allow them to land the plane safely. All big planes can fly fine on a single engine. Unfortunately it’s just one of those things that when you trust other people with your life every once in a while you get a nutter. No way to really avoid it more than they do. Bad things happen and bad people do bad things.
It's an engine fire suppression system. It has to exist, in case of engine fire.
theres scenarios where turning off engines can save a flight so NO
The answer is to keep crazy people off of planes and out of the cockpit - not to make it harder and less safe to fly the plane.
Please leave aircraft design to the qualified people.
If the judge was smart he would give this person 50+ attempted murder charges
Ah yes, just what I needed to hear a day and a half before my flight. 💀
Same 💀 plus I’m in Italy and apparently a super volcano is gonna erupt 💀💀💀
