On the Spectre of Nayr at 20:15, how does that Bonus Attack [ Target Lock ] interact with with Ghost Company? You need a target lock to fire it but Ghost Company requires a different defender to recover the energy. Do you need to have two target locks to fire at a different target to get the bonus energy? I don't understand how that would work because of the [ Target Lock ] requirements on the Point Defense Battery.
That's a good point, so you may have to have wingmates that are able to pass over Locks. Since these are SLs they can't take an upgrade I found that allows them to hold multiple target locks. So you would shoot a target you *don't* have Locked, Bonus attack one you do, recover one Energy - I/we are just missing whatever would allow you to use the other Bonus Attacks
Found the rules doc! This changes quite a few of my reactions, especially about Jam on front-arc ships like Broken Horn: docs.google.com/document/u/0/d/16PW1iELfsw73MDWL9J24xg4XrKjjrwGWckC2s9kZYUA/mobilebasic
Never stopped playing epic, 2.5 ruined the game and lead to it eventually dying. Why people still push 2.5 is confusing. I guess they are hoping that someone picks up the game and the people running it now can get jobs.
To each their own, of course - and congrats on having a play group for Epic! Personally I've mostly just kept playing whatever the "current/officially supported" version is, but in some important fundamental ways I think 2.5 really added to X-wing as a game
Would love for you to do some videos on Snap Ships Tactics!
What's that?
This is the Internet, I'll look it up 😂
@@casualdadgames it’s like X-Wing mixed with Lego’s. The creator of Heroes of Aturi Cluster is the head dev of it, it’s a great game!
Epic did have pilots for each faction under the 200 points system. The 4 newest factions were just generic pilots though and there was only 1.
Nice, thank you for that! I did poke around for this video, but had a really hard time finding clear information
