I have been using the Moto Edge 40 for about 5 months now and it is hands down the best smartphone under the 30k, it has a great display, powerful processor, and with gcam the camera performance is unbeatable. The only thing you should keep in mind is the battery life which is just above average but it makes up with its 68 watt charger and one more thing, "I still waiting for the Android 14 update moto".
Iam also using for 3.5 months and the cons is
Over heating issue
Refresh rate wont go above 90hz in most of the apps
Poor front protection
Average front camera
Slow update
Its best under 25k but not 30k now their is iqoo neo 7 pro and nord 3 under 30k

I still think people make a big fuss about bloatware, it hardly takes two minutes and just uncheck all the user experience programs during setup. I mean ditching a very good phone for bloatware and choosing a mid device just because it is 'Clean' is stupid.

I used the Motorola edge 40 for the 5 months. In this time frame I can give my sneak review that,
1. Battery does not lasts long, honestly
2. Front camera blushes the skin in artificial lights as well as day time sometimes
3. Phone does heats up in regular usage because of this metal frame does feel uncomfortable
4. If you keeps your phone in pockets with the keys then, backside leatherr finish will tear due to sharp objects (It happened in my case)
5. Not provided the good display protection it will shatter easily if you drop from very minimal height
6. And yes camera is very average
At the end I does replaced phone with Samsung galaxy s21 ultra, and happy now in every aspects

I am using moto edge 40 neo. It's 7030 is not as powerful as 8300 ultra chipset but it compensates that with cleanest software experience and overall user experience. And IP 68 for Indian users...... Just icing on the cake!
Yeah, camera performance specially selfie in low light is not good but that can be fixed with an software update. Right now, I'm using GCam to compensate that. Overall, loving the experience right now!

I have been using now Moto Edge 40, when this phone was launched in the market, it was overpriced, but now with the price tag of 27000 and the features it offers really blows up your mind. Mind blowing experience from Moto Edge 40. Just go for it.
I use Edge 40 and I am really happy with the overall performance ❤. The only con I faced is the battery draining with dual SIMs and if you use a single SIM, it will last a complete day without having to charge it.
Update: I have two profiles on this device, one for the office and other for my personal use and I have my comments above from my practical experience. And when you remove the office profile, the battery performs better.
Plus, network reception is excellent, thanks to the external antennas.
I have used edge 20 pro with SD 870 AND TRUST ME there is a very minimal difference when it comes to performance, so all in all under 30k its a very good phone.
What about Motorola after sales service?

@@tks2102 Camera is good enough and I am saying this when I have used a lot of Moto phones in the past, like edge 20 pro , G51 and a few more. Of course S20 or S21FE are ahead, but looking at Motos history, it's better than the rest.
I am using Realme 12 Pro Plus , this is best in camera and processor also , bgmi high setting is Utra HDR with extreme ❤ and 120 X Zoom is osm❤

I'm using the moto edge 40 for the past 2 month. It's an all around best smart phone. The only issue is, i cant find a proper phone case or tempered glass for it.

If camera doesn't matter to you much then yes u can go with it, software experience may not be best but u are getting 3 major android updates which is excellent for this price, and specs is too good, so sure go for it but I would say wait for a month to get detailed review of it from youtubers and then decide

Brought OnePlus nord 3 for 25k on sudden price drop , no exchange
My only issue is with the battery, only lasts about 8 hrs (SOT) with minimal usage.
Having bloatware in hyperos doesn't mean that its worst

I've been using th3e moto edge 40 neo for a month now. The display is fantastic, camera is decent but kind of overhyped on youtube videos, battery performance is overhyped as well, it could run a full day on normal usage but you will probably have to charge it at night again, the charging is very fast but the adapter and the phone heat up while charging, the phone also heats up while using mobile data and in sunlight with high brightness, but it doesn't heat up as much as redmi phones it only gets moderately warm in these situations, it also has the best software, much better than redmi, realme, poco . Overall it is a very good phone if you can get it under 21k or 20k, if you can't go for a newer phone like poco x6 or something.

Storage speeds do count towards the usage as well which are different between Moto Edge 40 Neo and Poco X6 Pro.
I used the moto edge 40 Neo but found the 6.55 inch display too small in size for my liking. Other things of the phone were pretty good though.
I did take a great decision by buying moto edge 40 neo blue on big billion sale for just 19.5k and still its being on top edge and my Experience is GREAT!!!

The Poco X6 Pro is an excellent choice due to its faster storage and processor. When compared to the OnePlus Nord 3 or Edge 40, the Poco X6 Pro with 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM is more affordable.
We use Universal Android Debloater to remove all bloatware and undesirable apps. So it's pretty much the same experience as with OnePlus or Moto.

Not precisely. I would prefer and recommend a better overall experience in terms of specifications and performance. Instead of underperforming StockAndriod. Also, as an operating system, Android prioritises functionality over form.

Anyway, Android is essentially an app-opening OS because there isn't much you can perform natively or without additional apps. Regardless of the operating system, 99% of applications will perform the same.
So, I'd rather have a faster processor and larger storage than a slower one with UI and design tweaks.

Poco has custom rom support which is a huge deal and also the IR blaster. (Mere city me bas Xiaomi and Samsung ka hi service center hai, Hence no debate)
custom rom support is only for the devices with Snapdragon processors not mediatek

I've been using Motorola Edge 40 for a while now, and the only con mentioned here about vidoes isn't actually a con. 4k 30 FPS cap is sad, but the video quality is really good. Phone has a really good HDR photo processing, and games play fine. Heating here and there sometimes, but it is mostly ok. Battery could have been better, but it is what it is.
Bought if for 24k and for that price, it is just the best. Have no other complaints.
While playing games when call comes proximity sensor offs the phone that's why not given redmi

As a nord 3 user i can confirm this is the best phone under 30k. I am using the gcam for camera bcoz the stock one is shit. Otherwise everything is good. it got some flagship features like bgmi 90fps, 4k60 video recording and 960fps slomo.
