Rachel Brosnahan nailed the role. I became a big fan of hers after seeing this show. And Amy Sherman-Palladino's script is really great too. I am so sad that this show is ending after season 5.

Well there is something about the snappy wit and humor of a smart, Jewish, New York woman. I married one in Texas of all places. She ended up there with her shmendrik first husband. She shed him like an old schmatta in due time. We fell head over heels for each other; she laughed that she finally got her cowboy. We had a great marriage until she died from kidney disease. We'll meet again. I miss and love you my darling Susan🌷

I loved this SHOW !!!! Totally get how she leaves her makeup on until her husband goes to sleep them puts loads of cold cream on to sleep motionless besides him and then wakes up before he does and cleans up like she is going out ~ and he wakes to see this beautiful force of nature before him singularly resolved for his pleasure ~ and he goes to work and cheats on her with someone who cannot tell the difference between a pen and a pencil… 🥰sweetie I understand

I love it! This lady is excellent in her delivery. The writers n w Ed to be commended and the actors people choice awards, the other awards that are subjective of 'peers' and 'industry Cabals' and if someone has been around but never awarded, the cabal will reward for the age of their efforts instead of what is truly great, like this show! Superb! The very best series of all media!

I was so desperate, I rewatched the whole series… & enjoyed it just as much as the first time! “We” (including myself) have gotten so spoiled with Immediate Gratification! I believe it was delayed bc of covid & bc they didn’t realize how big the series would be enthusiastically received. These clips don’t do it justice.

@@carstenpfundt why would war vets laugh at that posh stuff? Do you know veterans from that time? I do and they have a sick sense of humor, they make fun of women like this. You know an old man who used to come into the gym I worked at would joke about Adele songs saying she should just off herself already. I was shocked but his other old man veteran friend would come in at 5am every day and make sick jokes and have a jolly old time. You can't convince me that the men from back then really had that dull of a sense of humor after combat. I cannot be convinced. I sing for veterans at the VA and have been for years, they too are sexual and funny and they never laugh at such stupid jokes from the perspectives of a young woman's critical thoughts. It's not the same as a fathers senseless humor jokes.

The actress, Rachel Brosnahan, is really talented. Have you seen her in interviews? She seems very calm and introspective but plays this super confident, almost brash character so well, but also let's some of Midge's insecurities shine through.
@@Josh-qo7yd - do you realize this is a character on a tv show with lines written for her? In the context of the time, when there was some resentment at women making a living being comedians, the character's humor makes more sense.
