My biggest issue is, you can get a base 1500 ext cab with 4x4 for $1000 less. Which means the only pro to this over a 1500 is size, but it's still not that far off.

BUT the main thing you did not mention is capability. this this will do stuff offroad you cant even dream of with a pickup truck. It's just a different way of thinking for people with the financial means to afford them.

@@ATVGUYS I have a hard time with sxs's. An in-law has a base Maverick 1000 (2017ish) and found it squirrelly. That's the best I can describe it.
And I much prefer the active riding of an ATV.
But I also had driven a $45,000 maverick and hated it because it was enclosed and the suspension was so good it was like driving a sedan on a freshly paved highway despite being in an offensive rutted logging road.
While I can appreciate what you're saying, the price tag is offensive.

@@EC_ATV_Outdoors I can understand and I owned a gen 1 maverick and they were a handful to handle at speed. they weren't great handling machines. Ride a late generation maverick and it's night and day difference. Same with this huge monster of an SXS... thing drives like a car and you can get that handling with a General and I love these. Very different machines.

Why is the 5 seater illegal in Quebec?
Does that mean a 6 seater Is illegal too?
So if I had a 5 seater and went on a trailing trip to Quebec, I can't?

Question of weight... 950kg limit for federated trails... sucks but this is what we need to deal with in QC.

@@PowerSportsQuebec interesting, I wonder where they pulled that number from. Because speaking from a NS trails view, we have forestry vehicles, trail maintenance machines etc that all exceed that weight, some by multiple times. Curious on what the logic is that the trail users could be too heavy lol

@@EC_ATV_Outdoors It was even lower back in 2017. That weight is decided by the FQCQ (ATV Federation) and then fed into the law in some fashion. It's a highly touchy subject with clubs in Qc.

Too much for trail riding...nice rig for those with bottomless pockets....I prefer the wind blowing in my face...this machine has its place in some areas...

That has more room and is nicer then my Jeep Patriot. Not an SXS or an SUV either as you can't drive it as an everyday unit the way it sits ..... WHY.

Because they can and people by them. It's like owning a 130 000$ Cadillac Escalade V, nobody needs one but the waiting list to get one is close to a year...
