This has to be the fastest & easiest pallet deck I've ever seen. It's a great job
I love when you guys stop-- and smile into the camera. Sooooo Cute 😁😁 Oh....... and GREAT job on the deck. 👍
Solid. This is the best one I've seen. Picked up our palettes today, gonna be using this as my reference. Y'all did that!! 🙌🏼
My father in law and I just put together a 6 pallet deck and these instructions were super helpful! Appreciate the video 👍🏼
What size boards deck boards did you use? I'm using 6 pallets as well
That smile at the end of each segment is funny! Great job!!!!
That is some of the best sanding I’ve ever seen ❤😉
Very, very, very respectfully, I just wanted to say: DAYUM!!!!!!
💀
Lmfao
3 years later, how's the deck doing?
One of THE BEST pallet deck builds I've seen thus far. Might I day that using the same type of pallet makes for a better fit.
Agreed.
My husband and I are redoing our backyard. I love this idea of a pallet patio deck! Awesome job!
We did this last year but we used plastic pallets as our base vs wood. That way it will never rot away or break down. 60x12 completely changed our out door living space and makes a great conversation piece for friends and family.
Agreed. Slap a nice patio set on it and enjoy that yard!
Did you put wood on top of your plastic pallets? I’m going to use plastic pallets as well, but can find a video on plastic pallets everybody use wood!
Replying so I can look, too!
You guys are a fantastic team !! Great job , it turned out amazing.
You two are so cute! Love ur smiles 🤩
It's never been so much fun watching someone use a sander.
GREAT idea! The pallets save you a lot of money in timber. Love this!! You guys look great, a wonderful team effort, which is nice to see. I am looking forward to seeing your other videos. Thank you for the inspiration.
Thank you for the kind words and support.
This is so helpful! I’ve been wanting to build a pallet deck and haven’t been able to find a video that really walked me through how to do it…this is perfect!! Yous did great!
Best vid ive seen. You actually explain what your doing
My husband and I plan on building a deck like this really soon
Wow!!!
What a great job you both did!!!
Thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for the support
Her spraying set me off! LOL super cute! Love the patio deck. Thanks for video
Fantastic tutorial !!!
And I have to agree , warped boards can definitely throw a wrench into things ... Sometimes you can water pop the lumber to assist in unwarping it ... Simply saturate til soaked , then place 1-2 cinder blocks on the warped end with the level end secured . (SpongeBob voice) " Several Hours Later" the warp should of diminished to a less noticable state ...
Either way y'all did a jaw dropping job on this patio !!! Can't wait to see more crafty creations from y'all !!!
Great Job!!! Its great how you always smile at the end of each cut.
Love this team work
Thanks guys ❤️
Wish I had someone to work together doing things to my house!
You will find your handy helper. Stay positive and look on the Sunnyside of life :)
I feel ya!
I am so so happy i found your video 😂! This is great!!! What a money saver! Bless you both!

Thank you so much!!
This was exactly the vid I needed! Great job guys !! Thanks for posting this very easy to follow guide 👍👍👊👊
WOW 😯 GREAT TEAM WORK AMAZING results 😉👍🏼👍🏼
Just looking how to do decking cheap and easy thanks I will be doing it like this
Great job 👍 you inspired me to build my own.
Super happy to hear that. It will be well worth it!
Awesome job!
Probably going to use this for a deck outside of my backyard shed and work it around my firepit!
Glad to hear. A square fire pit will make for a easier build with minimal cuts.
I love it. Me and my honey used your video exactly….. my deck is beautiful!!! Thank you so much for your help!!
How is your deck doing? Has it rotted at all or is it still holding up? I'm looking to build a temporary deck and I might do this.
WOW perfect kids, perfect wife and perfect life. Congrats 👍
Definitely enjoyed this build 💯👊🏽 Came out great, and really inexpensive. Keep up the good work and videos 👏🏽👍🏽
Appreciate the support
She was working hard. Great help. I want to build one of these. But I have no help. My husband passed away in 2020. I love to see couples working together. I enjoyed watching. Enjoy your deck.
Thank you for the compliment and sorry to hear of your loss. Stay positive and push thru, I'm sure he would want you to be happy in any venture.
Well done. Came out nice. 👍
Awesome deck I need one of those good project to build. Thank you for sharing.
That cane out really good. Can’t wait to see the next vid!

This is freakin awesome!!!! Great job!!!! Major inspiration to my next project that will follow the example you have given! Thank you both so much for sharing!!! Best of luck!
What a beautiful patio guys! Very, very nice!
Thank you very much!
Thanks for this video. I have rottweiler pups and I was going concrete for floor in the kennels. I like this idea better.
Glad we can help. Thanks for the view!

That deck came out badass 👍🏼
Very cool..thanks for pointers..good job now gotta go build mines...
Nice teamwork! I am inspired!
Nice work, in the process of doing a patio deck out of pallets and composite boards as my layover
......And 3 kids later.....finish deck lol 😂 nice job looks great my guy
love this video working on my this weekend
That came out really nice...thank you for sharing..
Hello. First love the video, watched it like 20 times. I am looking to do the exact same but 3 times bigger. Following the same logic to use 12’ boards to minimize the cutting. How is the deck holding up after 8 months? You mention putting the boards together but not exactly show or talking about how you did it. And I believe in the beginning of the video there were stakes with your materials but you don’t mention using them. Did you use the same decking screws on the sides that you used for the top boards?
Deck is in same shape as built. I added more screws after video was posted. Same screws around the whole deck. If u want use longer screws. The stakes were use to frame the grass removal area as well as pin the pallets in the space I wanted while I screws them together and added the 1st few planks.
Wow that looks amazing
Great video thanks for the inspiration!
Oh yeah good job looks great
OUTSTANDING, thanks for sharing
2:12 🤣😂😅

That was awesome I just got my pallets and will follow your lead. Ty
2 years later. How's it holding up?
Some boards have a little warp on the ends but still very solid. Thanks for the followup 🙂
Great job on the deck you guys! 👍🏼
Good choice with the cedar natural!
Very classy look!
Thank you a million times thank you for the “ain’t nobody got time for that “! Ever freaking tutorial I saw was taking them apart I’m like why?!!?!?!? The whole point is to save time and money damnit! Y’all are hilarious too need a good sense of humour to get things done!!!!
Great job guys!
I really liked video have watched it a few times… the gravel on the one side is that for structure or decoration
The white rocks are for decoration. The gravel sand is to weigh the weed barrier on the edges.
lo hicieron muy bien y creo a bajo costo.!!! lo mejor trabajo en equipo
Great video!!!
Great video guys. Thank you
Thank for the support
Wow looks so nice! I'm looking to do this at our rental. We live in Arizona and our backyard is all rocks 😕 but this looks so good! 😀
No grass makes the 1st half of the project that much easier. :) Hope yours comes out beautiful!
U guys are funny! Great job!!
what a great job and very inspiring! I wanna see the whole thing put together with gazebo!!!! lol
You guys were my inspiration!! Great job 👏
good job guys thanks for the idea
THANK YOU! Guys as this is what I want to do to save money. How is it holding up? Yall r cute too and love that I ground pool!
Look at his smile 😃
I thought the stain looked a little too dark at first, but it really turned out beautiful. My new favorite stain color!
And, two...question...what about removing wood from other pallets, using that instead of buying new wood. Tight budget. Is this feasible?
Yes it is feasible but ALOT more work. Not all pallets are in great condition to break down and use making me have to get even more pallets. I considered that as well but didn't want to spend the time as I would rather finish sooner and spend that time difference with my family.
so today i bought nine pallets the same size and wondered how big my deck will be thanks now i know!. how did you attach the pallets together? this looks wonderful!!
Good outcome c
Nice job. Your helper is very pretty. Wish mine would help me like that.
🤣🤣her with the sprayer.. I wasn't expecting that..
wanted to see how you attached the pallets together
No particular order, atleast 5 of the same deck screws on all sides that touched to form 1 big piece. Hold the form and balance of the full deck.
Came out great! And it was definitely a great idea to have her come help lol Very beneficial to you and most definitely the viewers 😉 lol
Ain’t nobody got time for that made me sub🎉🎉awesome job💪🏾
Thank you for the video, I noticed you built the deck 3 years ago and I was wondering how is holding on? I want to build a deck and AI suggest me to use joists but I want to use pavers instead. Thanks
Nice work going to start on something for my lady
Just do it!
You guys are awesome thank you for doing this video so naturally my mom passed away and dad didn't care about the house and get remarried left me the house and was planning to do a deck with palettes and you idea was so simple and more natural yeah no breaking up to seal . Thank you less trouble and more elegant. Where can I find part two?
No Part 2 deck builds but we did put together our gazebo and refinished our wood dining table.
Hey bud thank you for sharing. Is what I was looking for. I just have a big question for you, do you think pallets will last long in winter time, specially in snowy states ? Thank you man!!!
I honestly do not know about cold climates but they sure as hell hold up through tropical weather. High heat and lots of rain with no issues. My rule of thumb is if you see pallets that sit outside of stores during this type of weather than they should be OK. Otherwise build it with pressure treated wood from scratch. Hope this helps.
Excellent video. Was really helpful as I try and build my own pallet deck! Hopefully you can address some questions I have. How did you attach the pallets to each other? Did you space the top boards at all or just placed them right next to each other ? I noticed you screwed the edge of the top boards through the side boards what is the benefit of doing it that way compared to screwing the top of edge boards (if this makes sense sorry if it doesn’t haha) ?
How many decking boards did you use
About 25 pieces give or take, including the pieces for the sides
Leveling out my yard will be the issue 😣😣
Move dirt around from other areas of the yard and use long pies of wood to drag along the area while damp to assist with leveling.
Good job!
nice job. this is something we are looking to do, I just know with the price of wood will cost a bit
Its hit or miss on the varying price of lumber and location. But its cheaper than it was a year ago.
great video
Y’all did that!!!! One thing. Maybe put some hardware cloth or something around the sides so that rodents don’t make a condo under that cool as ground deck!!! I’m doing this!!!! Lol 😂
Agreed! Added more rocks around the side to fill the gaps but due to rain it has to be touched up again.
That came out so good! Makes me want to build one but my land isn’t so flat and it shifts a lot :(
Make a deck on the highest point and use steps for the evenness.
Awesome! me and the wife have a mission lol
😂 cute couple.. the smiling couple 😂
Your family is awesome and the deck looks great. That pool is beyond nice!!!
Had you painted the pallets--the deck stays nice for 10 years and then starts to crumble (underneath)
Since you didn't, the deck has less than 5 years before soft spots begin and then the crumble is rapid.
It would of been nice to use 3" screws so that they penetrated the pallets vertical boards.
Your planks may work loose and twist with 2" screws not really anchoring into much.
Good advice. N Yes if we stained the pallets if would've added years but that would've added more time and paint. But since the pallets are not flat on the ground I'm expecting a good amount of time.
@@SunnyVi3wz hey I have blue wood pallets in my yard 12 of them how hard is it to level out the dirt our yards isn’t really that bad how long did it take u to get everything done when we are finished we want to put a jacuzzi and gazebo on it
@@curtisnelson7765 The blue pallets are definitely heavier than the others along with the jacuzzi very heavy. With those I would recommend after you remove the grass and get down to the dirt, pound the dirt as much as you can for a firmer base. I used paver sand under 12"x12" pavers on each corners of the pallets to assist with the leveling and not have the pallets sit directly on the dirt to preserve the wood. If you have the time, paint the pallets with sealer to add some more years to it considering your jacuzzi will be a permanent fixture. Hope this info helps.
@@SunnyVi3wz I’m doing the inflatable jacuzzi the intec brand I live in Las Vegas it’s dry here most of the year not that much rain
If you were to try to bounce a Basketball would it work with this? trying to build my husband a basketball area
Great job you both 👏🏿, that was an interesting project. Saved money and labor on paying someone to do it. Love the vid👍🏿💪🏿🔥
Thank you so much
