Not trying to be a snob - please don't take this the wrong way, but one tip: don't touch the movement with your bear hands! The oils and moisture in our skin will corrode it, even with the lightest of handling. Cheap latex gloves will do! Love the vid.

so many things were done in this video that would make a watchmaker puke, but its so amateur that its a perfect tutorial for EVERYONE that isnt a certified watchmaker. well done

This is just what I needed to fix an Invicta Coalition Forces Radar Quartz Chrono Watch with a broken stem. I can now swap the broken stem with another Invicta. Thanks for uploading this great and helpful video!
I have two Invictas that I just replaced batteries in. I dont wear them often, but I realized the inside of the crystals were unbelievable cloudy, awful to the point I wouldnt wear them. It was simple to take out the movement and voila! crystal clear and looking good after a simple clean. The key is to find the detent to remove the crown! look for what moves when you pull out the crown, put it in the date adjustment position and apply light pressure, it slid right out. Great video!

Thank you so muck I took apart my invicta because I forgot to screw in the crown and it got wet an some water got it and the inside forged up luckily I stumbled on your video and I was able to fix it thank you so much I’m glad I did not have to take it to a repair shop wher they wher about to charg me $60 thank you

Great watch! I collected a two tone and a Seiko skx0013 today! Invicta feels and looks incredible for its price! I love it and can't take my eyes off it ! Great watch for a first time collector !

Thank you -- I was inspired finally to buy a cheap toolkit and remove the pesky Invicta wings that have been floating around in the face area of my prodiver which a can one wear again! Would have cost me 60 bucks at the Invicta repair center ! Not worth it for a 90 dollar watch! Keep the vids coming.

Does this watch have a mainspring? Can it be overwound?
Every mechanical watch has mainspring and no, this movement can't be overwound because at some point of winding the mainspring will just start "bouncing"

Great mod. Tim from Australia. Any ideas how to make the Invicta lug holes bigger? The 2.5mm Seiko dive spring bars slightly too big for the Invicta. Cheap spring bars will seize up in sea water.

I have a Invicta first generation Bolt. the screw-down crown is stripped that's the way I received it from a mail order. can it be fixed?

I may try using a dentist Diamond drill, not to go all the way through but just to make slightly larger holes (if I can access one). One reason why Invicta not a true diver.

Have you tried looking for a caliber 6R15, 6R20, 6R21 or 6R24 Rotor?
@@peterk2455 yes, they all are interchangeable, but I was more for the looks, the one that's more available is the 6r15 but mostly plain ugly or undecorated, can you give me a link to some of the others?

@ Bruce Swearingen Watch isn’t broken if it is still working after modding and isn’t perfect if you want to mod it. We buy dirty cheap watches with tons of flaws just to remove some of them and make these watches perfect in our eyes.

+Jarrod Kackley How long does it last? You should have 40 or so hours of reserve but winding it alone you may only get a few hours. Need to wear it or shake it for awhile to get the full 40.

Very badly done . Bare fingers all over it and he never used a watch cushion to support it . The problem with you tube is that you have all these untrained people showing other idiots how to NOT do something correctly .
