TDR nova is a great one! I’ve actually been learning a lot about EQ because I can solo the EQ band and hear what I like and don’t like a little better. Also learning about compression with the GR Delta button. I’ll adjust ratio, attack and release with GR delta button on and be able to hear how compression is working by what it is removing- how much and how quick. I’ve adjusted the release several times because I could hear what it was doing with the GR delta button on. Wish compressor plug ins had a GR delta button. Maybe some do.
I use Phat FX a lot, especially its filter, distortion, and bass enhance modules. I also find the mix button in the lower right corner quite useful to mix the processed signal with the original.
These are all really good shouts! All three have been used by me a lot this year! This video was also a really good idea. Some others I’ve really really enjoyed is the step FX in logic. It’s messy but so useful for gated effects. Another one I use a lot at the moment is the new free cymatics nostalgia plugin. I think it’s called memory? Can really dial in some nice sounds similar to origin in that sense but it’s really nice to just see some character to piano parts and things. I imagine it would be great on guitar too but haven’t tried it yet. It has a guitar plugin quality to it imo.

With regards to the TDR Nova….I downloaded and installed this version of the plugin and I don’t get the threshold option.
