    Question...? After installing the Massive Audio EQ7 what was your re-tuning process? Being that the pre-amp is now 7volts out from the EQ unit to the amps, did you maximize the sub volume, then re-tune the amp gains? Or did you set the gains before installing the EQ and go from there?

      The Massive Audio EQ7 was set for the Midrange and highs alone. The sub output came from the pioneer avh-600ex and when straight to the clarion crossover then to the sound magus mono block amp. Where the massive Audio eq7 went to the clarion crossover then to the rockford fosgate t800-4ad which was playing the 18sound speakers. The quality and voltage output was amazing. The mids was loud and clean, plus I didn't have to drive the gains off the EQ7. I set the gains off the reveiver and went from there, just to give a little more volume and clarity. Really I didn't need the massive Audio pre amp (I was a bit greddy for volume, 😂😂😂😂) but it still worked amazing.

      @@troylopezcarlife4837 But the pre-amp voltage is higher than the head unit, correct? It seems to me the amplifier gains would need to be re-set according to the new incoming pre-amp voltage. I’m going to install mine this week with all channels running through the EQ7, because my head unit pre-amp voltage doesn’t hit 4 volts until volume 27 of 35. So basically my system needs higher pre-amp voltage to really maximize power.

      Yes the voltage is higher than the deck, same as if you was to use a audio control matrix. It assist in the voltage output so with that said the gains would have to be low off the Amplifiers and then to adjust to suite from there. There is a video on youtube showing the setting steps. Would send the link for you now

    Hey bro will this help increase my volume for my 06 Audi A6 factory radio when installing a system?

      You would have to see if the Audi head unit got an external RCA Jack output. If not then it can't be used. On the other hand, Audio control have a device call the Audio Control LC2i, which you can used your factory head unit and gives out RCA outlets for external devices like, Amplifiers, crossovers or preamps. Then you can used the preamp or crossover to get more out of your system.

      @@troylopezcarlife4837 so this unit can't be used as a loc? Would an lc7i be a better option? I currently have an lc2i an a daytin dsp but need the lc7i for the sub amp and mids since the lc2i is only two channel.

      @@Harlo86 the ls2i works good for a single amp system and the lc7i can use for a 2 amp system. They work great for a factory deck

      I am new to this and trying a thing. So I had a power acoustic EQ and switching to the 7 band massive EQ but I can't get the massive to work, the lights are on but no sound. What am I doing wrong?

    • @troylopezcarlife4837
      @troylopezcarlife4837  3 роки тому

      Ok I would go over step by step with you.
      There are 3 wires to hook up. A 12volt constant power, a ground wire and a remote wire that would attached to your ignition wire which turns the eq on and off with the key. Once you get that all hooked up, when you turn on the car the eq would light up blue or orange according to the color switch that you set it on too, which is located at the top left. At the side of the power Jack there are some rca jacks. Sub out, aux-in, main-in & front/ rear outputs. From your receiver, rca Jack it in the main in auto RCA's and with that the signal from your receiver is sent to the press amp. And to your amplifier front or rear rca goes to your input of your amplifier either ifyou got 1 or 2 amps. If you got 2 amplifiers your sub output is going to your amplifier for your subs or sub.
