Well this new Defender Octa based on a 110 chassis with a fantastic BMW 4.4l V8 engine which I enjoy it on my Alpina XB7 and therefore I can say Octa is the most powerful defender ever! 😎

How the heck did I miss this edition? I just put 7k miles on my brand new Defender 110 V8 . Just ate the depreciation up... I have never heard of the Octa, the color is amazing! Argh! I'm blessed to have the car I do, but man!
Wow...very impressive. I'd rather buy an Octa then a G Wagon or even a Wrangler 392. That is such an impressive looking vehicle. In the meantime, I have my Defender 110 with the P400 engine to enjoy, which is still plenty of power for my needs.
The Octa does also come in 90 format, you were just at a venue that did not have the 90 version. Also, the 90s were seen all over social media during testing phase.

Sold my 23 110 Carpathian to see what they had in store for 2025, I'm actually not a huge fan of the looks on the Edition One and prefer the standard Octa. But I don't love the rim options, the matte Grey 22" rims looked perfect IMO, I wish they would have color matched those to this new color. The new Octa rim choices look like something from Jeep or Chrysler.

Would I take it on a real solo adventure in remote territory? Ummmm difficult, as I’ve heard it cannot easily be towed and only taken to Land Rover on a flat bed. 😬 Is this still the case or has LD fixed this?
In australia most 4x4 have snorkels, would that be possible to mod on, due to that big air intake at the front because i just imagine so much sand going in there. lol

Same…. Had a RRS and 3 Jeep Wranglers. Never had an issue with any of them despite all the “warnings”. New Defender coming soon.

Bought a new Defender x 110 in 2021, flawless so far. May replace it one day with another Defender.
I have the V8 Carpathian Edition, also flawless so far. The V8 adds a little emotion. That’s what I’d recommend.
