UConn should have done anything and everything possible to build that stadium close to campus. Overall they have a nice campus and nice sports facilities but having their stadium so far away hurts them.

Wouldn't surprise me if UConn eventually gives in and joins the ACC. As we're seeing, Notre Dame football is really the only exception to stay Indy because of their NBC contract.

Just FYI for anyone watching, UConn's football stadium is 30 minutes away from its campus in Storrs, since Storrs is really in the middle of nowhere. It's just outside Hartford. UConn also has a 2nd, larger basketball arena in Hartford called the XL Center that they use for half their home games. Maybe you can try that one next time GFed
(you should try going to Boston again next) (try Harvard and BC. For Harvard I was just there a few days ago for a Boston Cannons/lacrosse game and upon the entry to the stadium, I did see a sign that says gates are opening from dusk to Dawn so I don't know if that's an indication if you can walk onto Harvard field, but it's worth a try. and I have no idea for Boston College
As a UConn fan, the football team is absolute dogshit, no pun intended, consistently terrible. Pre covid, when i was up big, i inquired about one of those boxes but single games for the mid level were $4500 without food &bev package. For a bottom 5 out of 120+ D1 🏈 teams, i passed. Although the guy did make a hard pitch offering me a box between Jim Calhoun and Ray Allen 👀🧐 👀
@LuigiWithGun no, they arent. They had a decent 6-7 season 2 years ago and then regressed to 3-9 last year. Do you go to games and watch the product on the field in person? I do. They cant pass the ball downfield if their life depended on it

When you pull up to the wells fargo center next season (Hopefully) I have some tips for how long can I stay. Avoid the club level bar area as it is very wide open and should only be used as a last resort. The mezzonine however should be quality. Godspeed and go sixers. 🫡🫡🫡
