Hi there! You should campaign to the Scottish Parliament and get midgies OUTLAWED! Smidge is a good spray. But try getting garlic capsules. Dosage = take at bedtime with water. This doesn't stop the beasties but helps. BTW you don't have garlic breath and DO NOT bite into the cspsule. Skin so Soft, an Avon product is good. You should buy the dark green bottle. Use that to shower. I was advised this by a Scot in London, who also said to always wear a hat, and not to wear anything nice smelling, like perfume. Use a bland deo. Oh, spray Smidge around the rim of your hats and sleeves. I found the Smidge helpful coz in 2019 I was in the Highlands and no midges bites. 😀 So all the best to you both, great photography BTW and see you soon from a new subscriber. 😁

I love your Mull videos! This was posted in October so I'm curious what time of year you were there? I go to Mull every year late September to early October and have had all weather and never a midge in sight!
