    Good video, also you can cut the bleed hose to about 12 inches long block the end, cut a small slit in the side near the end. This acts like a one-way valve when you bleed. I have one already prepared which I use all the time but you method works well too

    Do you do the same thing if your bike had 2 release pressure valves?
    Or, do just one?

      @@vegasromaniac thanks for the quick reply much appreciated! I changed my brake pads just b4 and the piston was to far clicked out so i forced it back in with a c clamp, squeezed my new brake pads in and now theres no pressure on the pedal and the piston isnt clicking out? It was before I fitted them though...

    Please correct me if I'm wrong but I thought Dot 4 was used in all motorcycles especially because of the smaller quantities and higher temperatures.

    • @vegasromaniac
      @vegasromaniac  7 років тому +1

      yes you are correct, book said dot 4 , I used dot 3, only because the temp difference is 30 deg, and doesn't do much, also they spec the bike for competition and I can barely ride so ill never use the bike to that point that it will boil the fluid .... but yes you were right .... as far as the numbers goes

    Its just easier to fill up the bottle with a bit of brake fluid submerge the line in and just pump, no need to hold break

      @@vegasromaniac yes just have the line submerged in the bottle inside fluid and pump the brake untill you see no more bubbles; so when brake comes back up instead of taking in air it will take fluid and just make sure you top off reservoir
