From a Mancunian who moved to London for work, London is not like the rest of the UK, it's artificial overcrowded and all the resources of the UK get diverted to London. Manchester offers so much more, it's more varied and more culturally British, is surrounded by the best countryside in the UK and it's friendlier and easier to get around. Forget London and go to Manchester but give yourself time to visit it's surrounding area. Look for the videos of Martin Zero
