They're both associated with those in-universe. Jiyan has a strong qinloong motif (+ capable of manifesting wind energy around himself as one in combat), and Mortefi's resonator awakening caused him to quite literally dragonify (in-universe, he's believed to be associated with Dragonkin species which is long extinct). Bro's so angry, he Overclocked several times to, well, calamitous effect.
Despite themm being flat planes in a socket of white. It was still very hard for me to tell if that were the case with WUWA's eyes. It's a very common thing in anime models, but I was SERIOUSLY struggling with the WUWA eyes. I mean, the eyse for Genshin Immpact are exceptionally easy to tell they're just flat png's, but I actually had to look at the models for more than a few seconds. Another common thing for anime models is that the face and body are two seperate meshes, sometimes the hair is it's own seperate mesh as well. You can actually see this in several games, Code Vein in the training area is perhaps the best place you can see this connecting issue, and it's always right there at the neck and jaw. Of course drawing clothes onto the character is another common thing, and I absolutely ADORE how Kuro doesn't just draw half of the character's clothes onto the character, but most of it is fully modeled, and has thickness to it. My favorite exampmle is Shorekeeper's collar, something that could be painted on and used with a normal map but instead is fully modeled onto her character. The detail they go for is insanse, although I might only say it's insane because Genshin Impact is the standard that everyone compares gatcha games to.
I just realized all these Genshin's character were not blinking when they were holding a weapon and in their talent skill. Some of the newest character also have a bit physics in their hairbang while the oldest character not

Bro the lighting is so bad on nahida I can barely see any nose or mouth. It’s just 2 big eyes, and nothing else. Also the hair looks more fluid and flowy in WuWa. Hair in GI looks plastered af.
I think in an interview of how Genshin characters are made, I remember their shadow being part of the character itself instead of dynamic. Hence why in most scenarios, character can only have, full shadow on, half face, no shadow, which makes facial features disappear.

2:52 creepy ahhh Navia stare 😳😳💀💀
Idk why but i'm still so freaked out by ayaka's stare 😂
Jiyan and Mortefi have dragon eyes Σ(・Д・) 🔥🔥🔥
They're both associated with those in-universe. Jiyan has a strong qinloong motif (+ capable of manifesting wind energy around himself as one in combat), and Mortefi's resonator awakening caused him to quite literally dragonify (in-universe, he's believed to be associated with Dragonkin species which is long extinct). Bro's so angry, he Overclocked several times to, well, calamitous effect.
1:19 i can not move past this woman. Changli is so gorgeous 😍
Some of the newest character also have a bit physics in their hairbang while the oldest character not
Danjin smile is so cuteeee
Just finished Shorekeeper quest and she actually picked up the teacup and drink while not being in a cutscene. I believe Genshin will probally do the blackscreen dialog *Then she drink the tea and put it down back on the table*
I really like the style of the game on the left. I’ve always been a fan of that kind of art style with the cool-looking hair.
Why is ayaka's forehead bigger than her shoulders
Wuwa : avoiding you after few seconds 🤡
GI : Directly watching at your Wallet 💳💀
2:54 Navia looks creepy with that smile 😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Its the eyes lol 😂 if she has yangyang’s they would smile the same

navia and ayaka look really creepy when compared to wuwa, def gonna have nightmares 😭
I've been saying Navia has some kinda evil stare
Some shitty fandom call it dead game by the way. Idk, a free 4 star character looks more alive to me than the whole 👁️👄👁️ 80-90 characters from that other game.
Have someone ever made a video about how gi characters pluge, charge attack and weapon selection animation are recycled?..
Yeah I've been thinking about that as well, they all look kinda similar.
It didn't need a video, because everyone already knows they're the same
every movement in genshin is recycled one after another lol, thats why its boring, look dead af
@@shikanokonokonokonokoshitantan lol that explains why it looks so unauthentic.
Kinich's charged attack is actually different but practically speaking you'll never use it so it doesn't make a difference
I open my UA-cam and this first recommended xd truly what I've been looking for youtube such a best man😂
Well back to business, genshin looks Dawgshesh the moment Wuthering Waves show what truly 3d characters are big w
Some eyes in GI look gorgeous while others pretty bland. It's pretty inconsistent.
WuWa on the other hand did the eyes really well on all of its characters.
Granted WuWa has a much smaller roster than GI.
This solidifies my goodbye to Genshin. 😂 All WuWa NPC and story + storytelling is way more alive.
Even though Gi has big eyes, it feels like he has no life in his eyes 😂
That Diluc Mortefi comparison was diabolical, I'm sorry Diluc
Genshin is obviously no longer the focus point of Mihoyo's development. Don't expect the game to change fundamentally.
Well, is there something that changed even before?(Some held back QoL stuff that implemented very late)🤣🤣

Most of Genshin's characters reuses animations which makes them so generic from gameplay movement to cutscenes. non-cinematic cutscenes uses recycled emotes from Ver.1.0, that's why players were so surprised when Kachina's 😳 face was first shown cuz it's an entirely new facial expression.
2:28 the og feather-haired girl so lovely omg
ok but Arrlachino staring at you without blinking for 30 seconds feels like something she would legit do to assert dominance.
most Genshin characters looks ugly compared to WuWa specially on close up 😂
they look like a rainbow threw up on them and this is coming from a genshin player myself ...
as soon as I saw the title I immediately knew whose better 😅
Jiyan stares can make someone's daughter pregnant.
Him and Xiangli 😂 Pretty boys 💚💙✨
It's the subtle movement- especially in their eyes that makes WuWa characters feel more alive.

Would really love to play WuWa in HD, but my mobile device might get cooked! At least, I can appreciate the character details even with low-res 😭
