Judging from the quality, I can't believe that Wuwa is one of the most F2P games. I played from 1.0 100% F2P with YinlinS1R1, ChangliS1R2, XiangliYao S0 and ShorekeeperS0. In just 4 patches with 8800 astrite + 7 weapons tide still in my pocket and I lost 50/50 almost every time. This is something that Genshin can't do in my day-1 and 3 years experience.🤣🤣🤣
i am a f2p player and i have every 5 star in the game with 3 exception: zeshi, jihan and encore. i even lack a lunite or insider channel subscrpcions, that those are like 5 bucks

I been playing pgr im having a blast. My second game was genshin and wuwa is main now i deleted gi for pgr. For 1hour playing pgr i got three S rank characters.
I know PGR in past 3.5 year , i going to play store jp region for shearcing emulator to play nier automata, and i surpriseingly they (pgr) collab with nier , and i installed the game now my lvl in 115 , and i got almost all of construct with their signature weapon, and i get all coating with black card gacha to... What a beautiful game😎
Actually, hoyo is indie developer with only honkai impact 3rd at their belt when making genshin. Hoyo is billionaire because of genshin not before genshin.
sad part is genshin makes so much money but they don't focus on improving the game 😢 still same npc models in every story quests like past 4 years they even made mountain shaper and moon curver like those basic npc we see in every region

The unfortunate effect of developers refusing to edit their 5 base character model mesh shape to fit each characters they're designing before putting on character outfits. It's probably okay with Klee when the game came out, but then all short characters going forward use the same Short Female base, which unfortunately led to Nahida being Dendro Klee. Idk if they're optimizing load time or cutting cost.

I still use an old Android 11 (Samsung A50) and it can play wuwa without frame drop. Genshin however (even it was first released). I can barely play it.
Comparing games will not be without controversy. Pros or cons are normal because each player definitely wants their game to always be the best and that's not really a problem. Maybe sometimes some criticism will be worthless insults but that's the "world of competition". Each game has its own appeal and selling point. For example, turn base games like Fate/GO and HSR, they will focus more on ultimate animations in combat battles and increased rewards because their games are "only turn base" which is at risk of being boring. Then games like Honkai 3rd and WuWa which focus more on more complex and less casual gameplay, offer more expressive combat and stunning animations. And then GI itself sells more on casuality and a vibrant fantasy world with colorful characters (which is lead to the lack of expression of characters because their budgets are more focusing in colorful details and etc.) and playing reaction elements. Sell more cute characters to match their vibrant world (Please note that my assessment is only based on the games I have played)
I think both animations are pretty good when it comes to expressions between fighting animations. The problem comes down to the designs of the faces and eye movements. At least that’s why I think
I agree, i also think it’s because Genshin isn’t changing the colour of basic attacks. The BA in Genshin are all yellow, unless there’s infusion. I think that’s why their attacks look so similar to each other because of the reused effects. That’s why I appreciate catalyst characters so much, I love the animations of catalyst users because of how unique they all look! (Also because Wanderer is my favourite character)

The difference in technology in 4 years, wuwa has genshin to test the water first about how resource intensive the open world mobile game can be, GI's revenue used in other things like music, writers, world designs etc.

I will never forgive Hoyo for taking away one of Nahida's expression in her attack sequence, sure it's not as expressive as WuWa but that single thing is what make her not that stiff. Also before someone replying it with because it doesn't fit with her background either it's because she's a god of wisdom or because of her sad backstory, if that the case and they think she souldn't be as cheerful then they should give her unique sprinting animation, not with that stupid loli sprint animation.

Do note that there are a few comparisons in this video showcasing Genshin characters from version 3.x and 4.x. While all wuwa characters are still in version 1.x. Definitely beginning to feel like a past-era game.

But especially for the world of wuwa, if we look in detail, genshin is 4 years old, automatically there are many regions, while wuwa only has 1, namely “huanglong”, I have spent time exploring all of huanglong and notice that huanglong has many topographical variations, some are humid forests, foggy, arid grass, The details of the wuwa world are also much more alive, NPCs who fight with monsters and actually defeat the monsters or NPCs can die, even monsters fight each other whether of the same type or different types, (as long as I play genshin, fighting NPCs with monsters is just a gimmick).

Well for Citlali, let's just wait for her gameplay since I think the expressive Citlali that you mentioned was only seen on the cutscenes, which any character can also have a different expression during cutscenes compared to the actual gameplay of the character.

The unfortunate effect of developers refusing to edit their 5 base character model mesh shape to fit each characters they're designing before putting on character outfits. It's probably okay with Klee when the game came out, but then all short characters going forward use the same Short Female base, which unfortunately led to Nahida being Dendro Klee. Idk if they're optimizing load time or cutting cost.

Comparing games will not be without controversy. Pros or cons are normal because each player definitely wants their game to always be the best and that's not really a problem. Maybe sometimes some criticism will be worthless insults but that's the "world of competition".
Each game has its own appeal and selling point. For example, turn base games like Fate/GO and HSR, they will focus more on ultimate animations in combat battles and increased rewards because their games are "only turn base" which is at risk of being boring.
Then games like Honkai 3rd and WuWa which focus more on more complex and less casual gameplay, offer more expressive combat and stunning animations.
And then GI itself sells more on casuality and a vibrant fantasy world with colorful characters (which is lead to the lack of expression of characters because their budgets are more focusing in colorful details and etc.) and playing reaction elements. Sell more cute characters to match their vibrant world
(Please note that my assessment is only based on the games I have played)
I think both animations are pretty good when it comes to expressions between fighting animations. The problem comes down to the designs of the faces and eye movements. At least that’s why I think
I agree, i also think it’s because Genshin isn’t changing the colour of basic attacks. The BA in Genshin are all yellow, unless there’s infusion. I think that’s why their attacks look so similar to each other because of the reused effects. That’s why I appreciate catalyst characters so much, I love the animations of catalyst users because of how unique they all look! (Also because Wanderer is my favourite character)

I will never forgive Hoyo for taking away one of Nahida's expression in her attack sequence, sure it's not as expressive as WuWa but that single thing is what make her not that stiff.
