My wife and I have 19 years til retirement, but I'm already thinking about it. We're considering either Lakeland or the Ft. Myers area. We both love Disney, and we love Sanibel Island. Congratulations to you and your wife on buying your own piece of paradise!
Just looking at all the Florida homes on here and find a couple from my home town Lima! Love your beautiful new home . I’ve lived all over the country and retired in Georgia!! Take care and enjoy Florida!!! My brother is in Largo.
My wife and I have 18 years until we can move, but it is going by fast. I'm hoping Cypress Lakes will be available when we move to Florida. It sounds like the perfect place to retire!
@@dennis.laman9472 when I tell people how long I have, I get a lot of laughs. I remind them I'm closer to retirement than I am my high school graduation, and I just realized my college graduation also.
Beautiful! My husband & I are moving to Florida next month & we’re looking into buying in Cypress Lake. If you don’t mind me asking, what’s the lot rent & do you have to purchase flood insurance since you’re near a body of water?
Rents run from $600 to $900 per month which would include and no, you don’t have to purchase flood insurance BUT I would highly recommend you do. Flood Insurance here costs me $315 per year. Sorry for the late response.😔
Beautiful Home looking for a community that you own the Land.Believe cypress Lakes has this. Can you be sooo kind to give me a nice honest sales person you recommend?God Bless
Would you mind telling me what you spent to get all this done? We are thinking of looking at a mob/man hlme but werent dure about it. Any alligators in the pond,? Just wondering, how many sq ft is your home? Thanks for any info you would share. JEFF.
We are looking to possibly move to FL in in the next year or two. I have fallen in love with Cypress Lakes...only drawback could be the high land rent. Im afraid it will keep going up a d price us put of the market after we get established there. What are your thoughts on this and is this area as ni e as it looks in all the videos? Thanks in advance! Maybe well be neighbors...
You are correct about the rent going up (max 5% a year) but so are all the other parks around here. However you get a lot for your rent money! This is a well-kept community, highly rated in Florida. In this price range nothing else compares as there is so much to enjoy here its like being on vacation all year! We are very happy with our move here with no regrets whatsoever. Yes all of Cypress Lakes looks nice and very friendly, helpfull residents. Come on down on a Stay and Play offer they provide with no high pressure to buy. Nice company.
@@dennis.laman9472 this weekend, we will be taking a "quickie" tour on our way through to visit our daughter in Miami. I'll be taking lots of pictures!
Beautiful home, Denny! I've been checking out Cypress Lakes and it sounds and looks like a place my wife and I could see yourselves moving to. It seems like a nice community, clean and well maintained. If you don't mind my asking, how much are they charging for rent here and what's included in that (i.e. water, garbage collection, etc.)? Thank you!
If you purchased a home with land your membership would be $300 a month. If you lease your property it’s a range from $600-900 per month depending on location in the park.
How is cypress lakes really...well we are still loving it and very happy we took the plunge and moved here. Of course the past 6 months have been a little different with the COVID thing and we are limited with activities being reduced temporarily but everyone here are still very friendly and good natured. We can still enjoy swimming, golf, tennis, pickleball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, bocce ball, biking and walking in our beautiful surroundings.
We are planning on looking at this area in February 2020 as a possible place to purchase a winter home, could you tell me what it cost you for monthly fees? Thanks
I.O... currently pricing can run from $20 thousand (older homes) to $175 thousand for newer ones. It also depends on location in the park and the size of the home itself. Hope this helps. Thanks 😊
Tell me about it!! BUT we do have lots of things to do here, beautiful clubhouse, 2 pools and hot tubs, 2 golf courses plus a great location for visiting the Atlantic and Gulf coast areas. After all we do live in the vacation capitol of the US .
