i understand how these poc radios work.. if i buy some now.. how do i purchase some later and add the new radios id’s to the older radios so that i can also talk to them as well. is there programming software? im interested in the wurui g1
I have two Wurui G1 radios that I purchased back in May I haven't used them in a month or so and now they are not working says I need to scan the codes and I do. When I take a picture of the code it doesn't do anything I do have an account online with Global PTT. Can you please help???
Probably not. These are not good for camping, hiking, you have to be within a half mile of a cell tower or they won't work. Kinda a scam. Those rapid radios are a huge scam
Please explain that more. I’m looking for devices that will connect me, my spouse, and my son who lives 2000 miles away from us. If the cell towers go down, what does that mean?
They work on LTE cell net works. Same with rapid radios. So if cell networks go down so do these types of radios. The up side is most modern cell phone features dont run on lte any more so if a cell networkis being overloaded you still might be able to get a message out.@MissChrissyM1
Those are not walkie-talkies. They’re a 4G cell phone wanna be I wouldn’t want one if you were giving them all for free if I was to use that I would just use my cell phone.
These are the worst systems I've ever seen. It's true, in a perfect environment, where everything is functioning (GSM towers and so) and/or in citties it's a pretty good choice but in wilderness... Come on, let's be serious. Oh, probably you're talking about that "wilderness" where people use to hike. In my oppinion it's a waste of money but... no but. ;-)
So.....they work if there's a cell phone signal. What am I missing here? If you want to get rescued in the outback....you better have a sat-com because this thing is useless outside a Neiman Marcus parking lot-

They use the cell phone network. Just get a push to talk (PTT) app for your phone. Its the same thing.
Not once did you say on any of these walkie-talkies how much they cost and how much the annual service fee is. How could you miss all that
Literally has all the links in the pinned comment and description...open the link and look at the cost.
what network do these connect to, so you can create talk groups and name the radios? I understand how the Zello one works, but what about the others?
Basically a Nextel without the phone part
The little one to the left for friend army
If you are in the woods and your cell phone doesn't work thilese lte radios won't work. If the cell 3:03 grid goes down these won't work

Every phone has a 4 digit I'd for the radios.
Can they be regular walkies in the wilderness? With out the sim (or be able to shut off sim) and say have a 300 foot range etc?

So... Who is the number #1??
There is none. It is a glorified Chinese ad. Why are people so gullible?
You might do some research because I see complaints that these don't work in the US and are primarily used in Switzerland.
They work off cell phone towers so they will work anywhere youe cell phone works
I wonder if in the wilderness there is a phone signal nevertheless, 4G.
There won't be.
Probably not. These are not good for camping, hiking, you have to be within a half mile of a cell tower or they won't work. Kinda a scam. Those rapid radios are a huge scam
Como faço pra comprar?
As soon as you add a sim card it will no longer work if the cell towers go down

The. Why even watch the video 🤡
But my concern is in wildernesss the normal signals are precious who will give you 4volte signals , yo got distracted by the whole point and problem

What about Rapid Radios?
Scam.
Its based on the GlobalPTT G1 handset, but its locked to Rapid Radio admin network. Also doesnt have wifi.
So the rapid ones are junk? I want to buy the global or rapid?😊@@samegalle1089

In that case, buy a Garmin navigator. Available for all conditions and sports !

I’m looking for waterproof shockproof, over 5000 mile talk range, 2 watts, 200 channels, flashlight.
In order to talk 5000 miles away, do I require a SIM card?????????
What do you think...do you think rube, sucker, mark...
