Great video Wally and Nanette! I put cardboard between my egg crates so my feeders don't get crushed.
Good call. We've done that too. Turning them will have the same affect.

I don't remember that. And I am sure she does.
I think I've tried all but one of the breeders you mention. One of them is quite close to me, so I usually go with them. It comes out to be cheaper for me, because of its proximity. It is fun to try out a variety of insect suppliers from time to time.
That is great! It is so surprising how expensive feeder insects are! I have not check prices in 4-5 years and had sticker shock!

I dont even buy feeders anymore; between peanut beetles, lobster roaches and little kenyan roaches, I can raise more than enough food for all my animals
Excellent. If you can raise your own, I am all for it. With over 1,000 geckos I cannot keep up with raising enough feeder insects.

I get 4000-6000 a week. I used to use the bug co but started having issues with a ton of dead ones so I switched but I may have to give them a try again as it’s been a few years.
I think all companies go through a bad spell. I had that with 3 other companies as well as a short time with TBC. But the past few years have been consistent with them.

What is the food?Do you put carrot 🥕 or apple 🍎 or potatoes 🥔 or anything else for moisture?
How often do you clean the bins?
Do you use the dead crickets 🦗 for fertilizer in your garden?
Love it- lots of questions. We use mostly firm veggies like carrots and zucchini but will use apples occasionally. I usually do not need to clean as we go through the crickets in about 4 days anyways. We do not use the dead crickets in the garden (no garden). Some, we use for our isopods though.

@@AirQuotes848 Again, great questions. I hate when crickets don't last longer! For food- we use the new Supreme Feeder Food of course (on our store). Hight quality!!! For water crystals any brand (larger granules are better). I don't put the food on the floor as I really want to monitor how much they are eating. I DO put the dishes next to the egg carton so they have easy access.
Hi! Love your channel. Are pomegranate leaves safe for isopods? I haven't been able to find an answer online
Hi. Thank you for the comment. This is more of an isopod question, but I'll answer here. There are so many great foods to feed isopods, like the Supreme Isopod Food, I don't try other more exotic type of foods. Think about nature and what they are finding there. If you feel pomegranate leaves are found by the specific isopods you are considering feeding, then try them. Otherwise, there really is no reason.

We did. We cut the large hole then hot glued the screen.
