Carole Horan ABSOLUTELY! Was just thinking same thing! Gotta be great to keep pace or set pace for these guys!
One night in the middle of a performance this drummer will just erupt into a huge ball of flames from all the friction and static charge he has to generate playing like he does. It will be very pretty. If it happens at the end of the show during the fireworks, people will not realize the drummer just exploded. I need a nap after watching him play in these videos.

That drummer was absolutely killing it. He blends right in with the melodic parts as though he's been a classical musician his entire life and then takes off on the double bass as though he's channeling Gene Holguin himself

Spike Flea I am very familiar with “extreme” metal and this drummers performance is no less impressive. Plus my point was the lighting wasn’t keeping up with the drummer.

And if you learn drums and you learn this song where i live, you need to learn it with one pedal since hi-hat control is needed on the trooper

I'm 54 i grew up listening to Maiden, AC/DC, Whitesnake, Deep Purple. That was actually pretty bloody good. Kudos to 2Cellos. Brings a whole new meaning to "classic rock"

I particularly like the bits where one cello is playing The William Tell Overture and the other is playing THE TROOPAAAAHHH! It's just so epic :)
Love how they start out with a ‘tease’, playing what appears to be a classical piece, and then - 💥 boom, the rock starts! You can see how Luka sheepishly is smiling at Hauser, knowing what’s about to happen!
My god, this is a masterpiece- these guys aren't musicians - they are sculptors, creators and being something so beautiful to the world of music. New take on other material; this piece is absolutely breathtaking.

My dad was a music teacher and I played in an adult orchestra for 12+ years. This music RENEWS me !!!! I hope you guys play for many years, there's nothing like hard rock/metal played on strings/cello. It fills a place in my soul!!!
The genius behind this composition is the William Tell Overture. The buildup, the breakdown and right in, no warning, they drop into The Trooper. That's skill. The octave drop down in between William Tell and the Trooper is a neat, simple trick they pull off flawlessly.
It took me a minute to catch the switch, absolutely amazing.
Somewhere about 1:26 I think they turn on the other path at the fork in the road.

The William tell overture is the perfect thing to start such a galloping kind song like the Trooper
Luka and Hauser are absolutely AWESOME cellists! No matter what style of music they perform, it’s always done with so much emotion, passion and energy - superb talent! The fact that they are able to play various styles of music from classical to rock, like this one and ‘I Shook You All Night Long’ (and everything in between) so effortlessly (except for the long practice sessions we don’t see!) is a true testament of this! I’m 67 years old now and was a classical pianist and organist since I was 5, so I know from experience just how difficult and time consuming it is to master the art of being a ‘real’ musician, and not to just learn how to read the music notes from paper and play them on an instrument. This is something that almost anyone can be taught to do, but making music come to ‘life’ can only be achieved when it comes from within a person’s heart and soul - which is exactly how these two play with all their pieces, whether together or each of them by themselves (Luka and Hauser - check out their individual music if you enjoy the 2Cellos and you won’t be sorry)!
These guys would be a perfect match to do a song with Nightwish. Floor singing...

Saw 2 Chello's on facebook, tracked them down saying COME TO GOLD COAST AUSTRALIA............well they DID and I went AND I SAY THANK YOU FOR BRINGING TO TEENS TODAY THE MUSIC OF YESTERDAY............ BRILLIANT.
Let’s not forget to also give credit to the people in the ‘background’ who set up the stage, lighting effects, sound, the orchestra, videographer, and all the others that haven’t been given enough! I’ve already said my piece about the Hauser, Luka, and the drummer - amazing talent to repeat myself!

The best part of this concert is there's a beer bar up the street to the left of the stage called Valhalla and it's like a Viking-Beer-Heavy-Metal-Bar. I go there ALL the time when I'm in Zagreb and drink beer and listen to metal. Would absolutely LOVE to see these guys play in the main square like this!
