Nice video. I like live plants. My plant's are always pearling because they getting nutrients they need from the eco complete substrate. When I had reg gravel substrate they only use to pearl after a water change.
Ruben eco complete is inert. it does not give your plants any nutrition what so ever. it only holds onto nutrients already present and makes them more available to your plants.
katya gai ya it takes nutrients from the water column to provide roots but it isn’t quite inert when you purchase it, though their is a lot less then people believe
If youre super lazy with plants, here's your options: Java Ferns: These things can grow in the sewer. Not really but you really need to try to kill these. Moss Balls: If you can put this in a bowl, you can put this anywhere. Tiger Lotus: Put one of these in a tank and youll never need another plant.
I have a mix because I was too lazy to remove the plastic ones when I switched to real. Honestly though unless you were looking really hard you wouldn't even be able to tell which real or fake, thanks to a bit of algae removing some of the "perfection" from the fake ones.
Fish can tell the difference between live and artificial plants...for starters they can nibble on live plants for nutrition. There are real plants anyone can get that need minimal care. I've had real and artificial plants and for me real plants contribute to the natural eco system of an aquarium so the pro's outweigh any cons...ie trimming and lighting.
I'm going to going to take some look some fishes and would try to see some plants so recommend me some as im a beginner and im having a 50 litre tank with molly, guppy&platty.
Uploaded a video a while ago to identify a new rainbow fish. i got told it was a female bosemani juvenile but i'm not too sure can you check it out. BTW real plants all the way!
When people say that fake plants are better because they are less work, I recommend that they get a fake fish as well, because it is less maintenance.
Chico the Human I agree
This video includes advice on whether to choose real or fake plants in your aquarium.
What do you prefer and why?
I choose real because I think it makes them feel like there in the actual ocean/river
Really nice video! Quick, Straight to the point, yet very informative! Thanks that was very helpful!
Great video! Live plants are definitely my favorite!
I have both. My fish will nip at the real ones occasionally...they wont touch the fake one.

BrAzZa BoYd Plus real plants reduce nitrate levels

are live or fake plant best for a 12 gallon tank with mollies?
Chirayu Jadhav it's a preference really, but if you will get plants I suggest getting some that are easy and require little maintenance
