this briefing should have been conducted from the pentagon or by a pentagon official - because if he does invade gaza/rafah then sending a bunch diplomats will be of little use and the damage that will result from the human catastrophe will be inescapable and rest solely on the united states, if for no other reason than to try and prevent escalation on various fronts, across the globe - countries of foreign media should station themselves to report on the resulting carnage.
