You will also need to adjust your track bar or possibly get a new track bar above 3” of lift. This is the only other thing you will need that I did not mention. This will be different for most Jeeps so you don’t always need a new one you can drill out your existing one like I did if you don’t have too tall of a lift.

yes my axle shifted to the passenger side, so I have a adjustable trackbar on its way

Lots of good information, nice. I have a JKU and just ordered a 2.5 in Terra Flex lift kit and I already have the 1 inch puck body lift and 35's. Cheers!

Thanks man! That sounds like a sweet setup, definitely love the JKU and the way they look lifted

Wow my mistake was when I brought my tj it had 35s on it and I didn’t know anything about the build. After putting on a rough country X 4inch lift I should have dropped down to 33s instead I purchased 35s again and now all I hear is I need to rebuild the axles 😩 your content and the reaction you get in the comments helps any newbie in the game of TJ building. Wish I found all this earlier but better late than never

1.25 inch body lift ,on my tj ,didnt have to do anything to the shifter or steering got lucky

4 inch for me, just so if I want bigger tires than 33s. But to me 33s you don't lose alot of power? Which is really a smarter way to go.? Good info man!

What fender flares are these? I want to get the same for my TJ. I like the flat fenders better than the pocket style

I cut these myself, they were the 6 inch flares but I cut them down and shaped them.

Shouldnt use a drop pitman arm unless your lift is over 4".

I know people that have them at 3.25 inch lift. My mechanic also recommended one anything over 3”

If you do a Suspension lift, do you have to re-gear your transmission?
I don't want a big lift. No more then 2 inches if that. I want my jeep to look stock but with a little bit of an aggressive look.
My jeep is mostly city driving, but occasionally the beach/desert/dunes, dirt roads and simple trails. No Rock climbing or extreme off-road.

No you don’t. You only need to re gear if you get larger wheels but that is only to increase acceleration and power. I dont think I’ll be re gearing at all with my set up. Drives fine. But you usually re gear the rear axle not the transmission. But sometimes people will get their transfer case gears adjusted to help with the speedometer being off with the larger tires

I think your wrong you shouldn’t need spacers under the belly pan get adjustable arms to change your differential angle😂

I have all 8 adjustable arms…. You can only adjust so much you’ve got spring mounts, shock mounts, sway bar etc.. believe me I’ve tried. You need the drop unless you have a rubicon or a slip yolk eliminator to get rid of the vibration caused by lifting more than 2 inches
