Good to see that you had success with your cuttings. They look healthy plants. I used hormone rooting powder on the rare occasions that I've taken cuttings but have never done a control at the same time to compare. So sorry to hear about poor Ben. You must both be feeling upset that he is not pulling through. A very sad time for you. You are in my thoughts.
Thanks so much Wendy, they are. The roots definitely were better with the hormone powder. These plants will provide us with some replacements when the original gets too woody and needs replacing. Thanks Wendy, we are giving Ben lots of love which he is responding to. At the moment he's still drinking and enjoying a little time outside in his basket but the end is nearing and we are making plans for him. It's not been an easy decision.
Thank you so much Wendy for your kindness. We have made arrangements for Ben tomorrow morning and a vet is coming to the house, where he feels safe. We have been explaining to Ben what will happen and that our other cat (Danny) and dog (Zeus) will be waiting for him over Rainbow Bridge. He knows he is loved and we have listened to his heart. Thanks again Wendy 🙏💝
@@MadAboutGardening I thought it was going to be today. What an agonising time for you both but at least you can have a few more hours together. Sometimes the kindest decisions are the hardest but I am sure that Ben knows how much he is loved and appreciates all that you have done for him. Take care.
@@wendybartlett6717 thanks Wendy, Ben is now with the angels and his two brothers. It was so peaceful. We have been a mess but know it was his time. Thanks for your kindness Wendy.

@@MadAboutGardening Oh bless his heart. He is no longer suffering and will be with his brothers. Sending you both a big hug at this terrible time.
@@wendybartlett6717 Thanks so much Wendy. 🙏
Hi, where did you put the bottle with cuttings in? How long did they take to get roots? Thanks
Hi, the cuttings were placed outside after taking in August and they were rooted within two months. They are very easy to propagate this way.
