Thank you for sharing Elvis and Kathy. I recently listen to the Elvis and Red telephone conversation and how Elvis said he was forced to marry Priscilla and the disloyalty of a recorded conversation and Elvis was extending an helping hand to Red even when they disrespected him by writing a book

I was not willing to pay a thousand dollars for this book, but was lucky to know someone who owns it, and she generously lent it to me to read. When I did a review on my channel and read parts out, I was amazed to find several thousand likes over a short period of time. Probably because it is such a rare book and fans wanted to know more about it, so I'm pleased you are doing the same for your subscribers. It is a beautiful book about Elvis by someone who understood him better than most of his other women, by virtue of the fact that she worked on stage with him and the other musicians, and shared his passion for music, in particular the gospel music they both loved so much. I think she would have made the perfect wife for Elvis.

My favourite 4 channels joining forces. Love Rhonda, Shawna, Louis and you Joe. This is what is needed....strength in numbers and all on a mission to right the wrongs done to Elvis' reputation. It is disgusting how the media have latched on to the gospel according to Priscilla without the integrity of doing proper research. Shame on them for giving her a licence to tell lies. The gloves are off now guys.....these lies need to be exposed and the hoodwinked masses need to be re-educated .Elvis deserves no less.

KATHY loved ELVIS . When their personal relationship ended she was very hurt ...
I asked her on her site what happened ... She said she thought the guys had a lot to do with their relationship.
Kathy was/is down to earth ..
I agree she would have been good toand for him.
Another lady I've always loved , is
    Ann Margaret .
Shes never shared their love story.

Thank you so much, you don't know what this means to me. As a past singer myself, when this book came out in the 80's I was a single mother with a teenager and a baby and having just gone thru a divorce after 24 years of marriage and wanted to buy this book but didn't have a dime to spare, years later when i tried to get the book again I was told it was out of print, and like you say, the remaining copies are thousands of dollars. I so appreciate that you bought this book to read to us fans, so great. It is so nice to hear some good things about our Elvis. Also she was one of the few who knew he was dying and knew the sacrifices he made to continue on in his career. It is books like this that need to be highlighted, it is material everyone needs to hear. I look forward to the next installment, I am 80 so I would appreciate the numbering of these episodes for us old dogs who are getting light in our loafers. Joe, Be Blessed I appreciate you.

Already in the first page I have learned a lot of surprising things like I didn't know the the first twin Jessy was born alive (it's written that Vernon heard him cry), unfortunately he soon died. I can understand the trauma this was for Gladys and why she was so protective of Elvis. And also, I never heard anywhere that there were bizarre things happening that day as the twins were delivered. Thank you so much for reading this for us and I'm glad I subscribed and hit that bell!

I love you and your Elvis knowledge but Billie Smith was by far Elvis' best friend. Schilling left Elvis to manage the Beach Boys and angered Elvis with his friendship with Priscilla. Jerry Gellar was sporadically with Elvis. Charlie worshipped Elvis, Elvis to Charlie...not so much. Billy was his soulmate. Billy was family and his closest friend. Even the MM in their taped interviews said Billy was closest to Elvis and in the last years of Elvis' life they were inseparable. Billy grew up with Elvis and Elvis loved him like a brother and confided in Billy his deepest secrets.

    • @05020502able

I think Elvis fired Schilling cause he caught schilling & Prissy Beaulieau together. Why would schilling return when Elvis died , & glued to priscilla Beaulieau hip, going to dinner together & so called business trips .. yeah they were really close, but Elvis was too much a gentleman & caring person to tell the real reason.

Charlie deeply loved Elvis.Elvis confided in him and he lived at Graceland even after Elvis died. They were close. He kept Elvis mentally stable over the death of Gladys while traveling on a ship to Germany.Billy wrote that nasty book about Ekvis.Charlie wrote the book about his friend Elvis and Billy took a loyalty oath They were like big and little brothers but Billy did betray Elvis. He would have been hurt by Billy's mischaracterization of him

I have this book. Kathy shares a lot of interesting details that you won’t find elsewhere. Although Elvis broke it off with her, I believe they remained good friends until the end. I think someone in the media probably threatened to out their relationship and he couldn’t risk his fans thinking he was being unfaithful to his wife. Whether he was unfaithful or not is up for debate. As with all books written about Elvis, we don’t know his side of the story. When you read between the lines you begin to find discrepancies that make you wonder where the truth actually lies.

Sorry to leave another comment, but I saw her on another UA-cam being interviewed and she was saying how she knew he was dying for months and months before he died. What is she talking about? Hopefully it’s in the book and then her saying the name Gladys that she didn’t know that was his mother‘s name realistically if you’re in a fight, why the hell would Gladys come up? She knew his mothers name and then I saw it was on another channel. Elvis was in introducing her 1975 and what he was saying is how she gets around with everybody meaning she sleeps around he said at the first show and then he said it at midnight show and that was very rude. I’m curious did she not hear it because he wouldn’t said that about me I would’ve been at the midnight show. Don’t know why he said it was he jealous because she was seeing one of the other persons in a band possibility, he didn’t want her with no anybody else possibility but I heard him say it very clearly

Well, It is true Elvis was upset with Kathy, but I think he felt bad and got over it. He couldnt expect her to put herself aside for him and not have a life, and i believe he realized that. I think all of those around Elvis could see him getting sicker and sicker. The shame is that none did or COULD do anything about it. Very sad.

I think she mentioned Gladys in the same way that someone today might say “don’t be such a Karen” when someone is acting entitled or being very demanding. I have no idea if using the name Gladys in that manner was a normal thing to do back then. It seems contrived and I’m not sure I believe it. I tend to think there was something else that was said that she didn’t want to share or which might have involved a secret between them. His cousin Billy Smith says he knows secrets he will take to his grave and that’s probably the case with any of Elvis’s most trusted confidants.

I also wondered if Vernon and Gladys maybe kept in touch with Jesse and his family like more distand family members?? just a thought . And I wonder if Pastor Bob might be Jesse not Elvis and so the voice and looks so near but not quite ?
