- We have another Japanese wallet (財布). Today is the minimalist (ミニマリスト) coin, card and cash Situs Tokyo Wallet review! It's made from Tyvek, which is a recycled product which feels like paper! Made in Japan, it has all the hallmarks with the coin pouch, an accordion card storage area and a very deep pocket for cash. but the layers on this wallet is like an origami experiment gone wrong...

Interesting. A minimalist brick. Truck drivers would love this, they can also use it as a wheel chock.
Your evaluations have sold me of three previous wallets that I am enjoying greatly and the novelty of a Tyvek wallet almost had me. I filled out the order, substituting a midnight blue color because the beige hue was sold out. Conversion rates put the purchase price at $44 (seems more than reasonable) ...and then the DHL fees for delivery priced out just a few cents short of $29. I just can't see paying $29 for delivery of a small package that weighs less than 1/2 pound. Nuff said, I guess.
This is actually such a nice design. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it was made out of leather. I just can't do wallets that aren't made out of leather. That's a deal breaker for me.
Thanks for this!
Can you review the groove life wallet with the groove wallet go leather attachment again?
i felt like the last one didn't do it justice and left out a few details.
would be great to know durability issues you've heard since launch, the adhesive strength on the new leather attachment, proper measurements with and without the attachments and weight...
and demonstrating the ability to fit tracker cards would be a nice thing to incorporate into your regular reviews aswell.
Appreciate the channel
I like this one. I have a very similar one that is origami made from cardstock, I like the materials, and sewing, as well as the snaps on this one.
Numero uno. This things Chonky. ❤ your videos
Really nice looking, ill have to test it tho
I.. I got nothing man. 🤯🤦♂️
I feel like they can do with less card slot, that'll surely reduce the thickness. It has a clip closure anyway why have so many slots. It is becoming a full cube with cards and cash in it
Could you review the SCUDO-USA superleggera sc7?
Gone wong
I'm actually really interested in this wallet but it looks like they don't ship internationally, shame
I'm pretty sure this brand makes a long wallet that is a better (thinner) form factor.
Looks like the New Testament books you'd see in hotels
Is it my phone, or is this video a bit dark?
seems really complicated tho
I’ll pass Mark! ❤
Ew too thick! But entertaining review
Strange. Both minimalist and bulky at the same time. I can see my brother in law carrying something like this. I am unsure if it is normal for japanese men to carry a lot of stuff all the time but his pockets seem pretty full. The change pouch is very useful in Japan, being able to open it wide and choose the coins needed instead of taking a handful and then choosing. I think how often a passmo or suica card is used. An exterior slot, or quick access seems like a must have. In Japan people carry less cards overall so 5 could be enough? But drivers licence plus passmo would limit carrying options, I guess a card could go where the key was stored. Maybe everyone is paying through their phones these days? Once again Japan decides to do things their way. Of course their country is falling apart and currently looks to have a dim future.
What a funny wallet no way it's a crazy wallet and way to thick
I will never use this wallet not even if they paid me
Too much material. Poor folding. Certainly not origami as then it would be made from one folded piece without the need to stitch.
