I have a 2020 maverick X3 TURBO RR is this on that model? I peeled the cover off and looked but there's nothing coming from the main loom. Tried to peel sheathing back but couldn't find anything
I have a max, is there a connection in the back I can plug the pigtail into for my whip lights? or do I have to run the wires from the front with this pigtail?
Is the power from the pigtail constant or is it keyed? I would like to use your pigtail to run LED whips and a toggle switch on the dash. I ask because the toggle needs key power and battery power.
That depends on the amp draw of each assessory. The fuse is 15 amp, so it will handle quite a bit. Generally you want to wire any LARGE accessory like a lightbar, direct to the battery then use the pigtail to provide power to the switch...
It depends on the load of each accessories. The accessory port is on a 15 amp fuse, so you should limit your load to 15 amps total. That's quite a bit of accessories. For accessories like large lightbars, you should use a relay and wire to the battery....then use the pigtail to get power to the switch that clicks over the relay.
@@giomtzz956 its in there man, its hard to see but get some light in there and look up what it's suppose to look like so you know what to look for. once you find it you can piggyback multiple pigtails off of it and they will be easier to reach then..
Depends, max load on that plug is 15 amps. Personally, i wire the high-amp side of the relay to the battery and use this to power the switch that "trips" the relay.
2019 X3 MXR trubo R, i do see the loom, would that connector be inside the loom somewhere? I had a look inside the big loom close to the floor but did not see any connectors, just the wiring harness
I picked up a 6 position fuse box i will be mounting under the dash (bolt to the removable cover) and running the power wires back to the power block beside the passenger seat. I have not tested it yet with a volt meter, but i think it may be switched power. It is only 3-4 feet from the battery, and if it was not switched power, why is it there??? I will update more once i get off my butt and get it done....
No one in their right mind should use this. That's like 18 awg wire and probably not fused. This is a fire waiting to happen.
The wire feeding it is 18AWG, the pigtail is the same wire size! Its correct, you are mistaken.
I have a 14” light bar. Will this do that. And also make video wire a switch to it.
Yes, it will. We will add more videos in the future!

Get a harness adapter. It plugs inbetween

Keyed...
How many accessories can be handled through that daisy chain wise before a fuse is in danger?

Can I run whips and halos on 1, or would I need two?
Can I used that to hook up a fuse box?
I have a 2019 maverick x3, i found the main wiring bundle. I dont see any accessory plug for this pigtail.
Please look at the pictures for the 2019 location at: wildpowersports.com/maverick-x3-wiring-pigtail.html
its hidden up there pretty good. you have to unplug it from a cover not being used. its hard to find but its there.
@@barrywirth2172 I just opened mine and I still don't see it lol

@@barrywirth2172 Yea it was under the dash no where near the middle console
why do you you look at the top left
There were a number of people, and my Dog behind the cammera distracting me, thats what I keep looking at!
With these pigtails, you do not need to add any fuses or relays, Correct?
Correct, its on a fused circuit on the machine.
What’s the most accessories you can add?
Would I be able to wire in a led light bar to this, instead of running all the way to the battery?

Wild Power Sports so why are you advertising as you can keep adding accessories to this pig tails without without getting in to the battery
What is your web site to order them?
wildpowersports.com Just search for pigtail when you go to the site!
