Quilt ''Fragments of the Sun''

Greetings everyone!
Today I want to invite you to watch my new video, which, I hope, will inspire many to creativity and new approaches to play with fabric. You're already familiar with this technique of connecting curved lines, but I've added a few new ideas. First of all, the bias tape has three different colors, which makes it possible to highlight individual elements of the quilt. And I also made additional details (this not only gave more colors, but also increased the final size of the block)

When you add your turquoise/black/white strips, are you just placing one fabric piece on top of the other, then sewing them together under those strips?

Hi. These strips are bias tape. You're pretty much correct. I showed this process in more details in my videos Quilt "Siri" and Quilt "Adelaida"🌷

Can I ask
What is your preferred wadding and how often do you change rotary blades? Your cutting is brilliant. Is it an Olfa Rotary cutter?

Thanks for your comment! Yes, I use an Olfa knife. I change the rotary blades every two quilts. My favorite wadding is Hollowsoft 100 (It's sealed on both side)🌼
