Danny your information on body movement is so very helpful. You go over a variety of approaches in your explanations and that makes it so easy to understand. Also you never forget SENOIRS you encourage them to do the very best they can with small adjustments.Thank you I am 81 years old. Arthur Kriese Alberta, Canada.
Every time I watch your videos, I have a moment at some point where I exclaim “THAT is what that is meant to feel like!?!” You truly are a gifted teacher. Your descriptions are well thought out and highly evocative, your drills are incredibly effective, and your ability to address the psychology of the game and human body at the same time makes you truly remarkable. Thank you for all that you share!
Sean Padgett good feedback! I experience the same as well. That “feeling” of yes! That is what it is supposed to feel like along with a solid ball strike. Thanks!
This is glorious, I've been looking for "youtube golf instruction downswing" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across - Penamillorn Peerless Prevalence - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is an awesome one off product for discovering how to learn an effective golf swing method without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got amazing results with it.
I am a novice golfer, just beginning to learn everything I can about this incredible sport. I find your videos to be the most clear and instructive out there. Your drills are so helpful! Thank you, and please keep them coming!
Wow!! Wow, wow, wow. I applied this today over a casual 9 holes and I've never hit the ball better. Didn't execute it right every time, but when I did, the contact was effortless and distance and ball flight well beyond my normal. Danny, I've been binging on your videos since getting back into golf 4 months ago and I can't thank you enough. Wish I could buy you a beer :-)
This video has changed my life. How? Danny describes and shows the correct swing plane...Stop everything else until you can make the correct swing. No b.s. use a mirror and once you have the plane right everything else falls into place. I just added 10 yards to every club with less effort. Danny, please beat this into every golfer...nothing else matters unless you can get the plane right, and 90 percent of people don't. thx Danny
I meant to add Sean’s comments are brilliant and I endorse them completely. I watch all your videos and feel refreshed to listen to your teachings. Thanks Danny, your awesome
This did so much I almost don't know where to start: Showed me there is almost a "wait" before moving weight to left heel, got my torso down without feeling manipulated, shallowed the club without thinking about it, got rid of the thin shots and brought controlled speed and compression to my shots where I didn't feel the need to use my arms. Thanks for this. Great stuff.
Danny, I have viewed far too many golf videos in my years. However, yours are the first that makes sense and are simple to put to use. I lived in the UK 10 years ago, and you bring back all the things I miss to this day. Well, the good news is you have made golf enjoyable again, the bad news, I want to move back to the UK! It's brilliant what you are doing. Well done mate!
I live in the gulf coast where it’s warm and always appreciate you getting out in colder weather to make the videos. Thanks so much. You’re a great instructor.
I am so glad that I found your channel. One of the most effective golf teaching method known to me. Can’t thank you enough. Wish I had found your channel much much earlier! But it’s better late than never. Thank you 🙏
What a great explanation of how to get the club shallowing out. I've heard many times the need to do it, but this is the first time I've actually seen footage of how it happens - as a result of correct downswing procedure in using the ground.
Hi Danny, Love all your tips which you explain in simple terms, your summary at the end, and your enthusiasm. I have saved many of your tips to practice in doors during our cold winter months. I especially love your tip to rotate properly by pushing my right leg back on the backswing and left leg back on the forward swing resulting in transferring my weight properly (this tip stopped me from moving my front foot-resulted from playing softball), starting the swing with the lower body and swinging from inside out to get rid of my push or slice. You are my number 1 golf instructor. Stay safe and healthy.
I always wondered how to feel this transition. Kudos to you Danny.. Most coaches can't express this part.. All words.. Which is meaninglessness if we don't know how it feels.. I have been on a hiatus from golf for more than 10 yrs.. Forgot what's it like.. Thanks to u.. My fire is back. Keep up ur good work.
Another really good drill. It looks like by doing this drill the right side fully and naturally gets through the shot. There is a lot of power there. I'm going to work on this one. Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your knowledge of the swing Danny.
Oh Mr Maude! You make look so easy!, I struck the ball quite well at my beginners lesson this morning but not consistently so I will give this a try! Many thanks from South Africa 🇿🇦
i was having the same problem with rotating my hips with a full swing. i'm taking private lessons which solved many other problems, chicken wing, hip slide, weight distribution at top of swing. I could really see how my swing looked better on slo mo vidieo but? after i solved those issues for weeks (practicing 3 times a week) i could not do a full swing with any consistent ball strike. 3/4 swing was fine. after doing this fix, i realized i had nothing to push against to rotate. now i'm pushing against the ground and can easily rotate my hips and shoulders. A big break through for me. So far the last 4 times out, my full swings keep getting better by feeling diagonal pressure on heel and toe. It was very easy to start grooving this feeling too. combined with my other fixes i really feel i'm heading in the right direction. Thanks Danny. i should take lessons from you. (my existing instructor is helping me out so not to knock him)
Straight forward and logical. Great explanation without reference to angles, planes, weight shift... SImple moves to put the body in the correct position. Very well done
I watched this video and did some quick practices an hour before going into a game today. Now normally I'd drill it out for a week before committing anything to a real game, I but just had to try it and happy to report it fixed so much of my inconsistencies during the game. I didn't fall forward or back during a swing even once. Every iron shot was so much stable, I felt in control. All by spreading pressure on left toe and right heel. I had a great game today just from these quick changes. Now to practice this and perfect it, thanks so much Danny! This was a huge confidence boost.
Top of the Morning, Danny...["Ben Hogan Swing, 1953"] by [Fernando Cano] dated [Nov. 28, 2009]. Timely! I am working on clearing my hips better using the "step into it" drill. This seems to be another approach to the whole process of shifting and rotating with more power on the thru swing. Thanks Danny!
This was fantastic! This tutorial and the previous one really made a huge difference in my downswing and follow through. I now know the feeling with the heel-toe. Your tutorials are the best!
golf is a " feel" sport... if it feels right but it does not produce the result you are looking for...you need to create / recreate the right feel through lessons... sometimes it feels so "different "...feels awkward...work though the awkward feeling and improve your game...great lesson here...thank you!
Those times I’ve been able to hit those incredibly memorable shots on the golf course all involved the feeling of downward momentum at the start of the downswing followed by a balanced right to left weight shift and shoulder turn resulting from the forces of the club head travelling toward and through the ball
One thing I do to greatly enhance this feel is I throw the club up into my backswing and get it to feel almost weightless and that feeling is what I use to start my body in my downswing as my arms are almost still going back. I'm going to pair that now with the exact feel you're describing here and as you say Danny, "hey, presto",....I know that will work great. Love your videos!
Another great tip especially using socks to where to put pressure on your feet. I am in my early 70s was about ready to give up on some of my irons and switching to more hybrids because of swinging over the top. Given your several tips, I am hitting my irons a lot better, and lowered my handicap to bogie golf; Also shooting in the 80s a few times . Thank you for all your easy to follow tips; Love your summaries at the end of each lesson. Stay safe.
Hello Danny, thank you for this follow up video. After watching your previous one, I went on the course and attempted the weight to trail heal but at top of my swing I immediately started to transfer weight back to my trail toe way too quick on some shots causing over the top and pulled to the left. Now I know to slow down and add continued pressure to trail heal (squat down then spring up). You rock Sir!!!
Danny Maude worked great after a round Danny with best driving in months. One thing that also helps me is start with about 60% weight on inside trail heal.
I found the left toe and right heel pressure on the backswing easy enough to do, but couldn’t get the squat part worked out yet on the downswing. However I found swinging from the top with my weight still on my right heel/foot (10:20) before transferring to my left foot/heel gave me a fantastic strike.
Danny I've been a subscriber for a long time now and I've watched your channel grow. CONGRATULATIONS on over 200,000 subscribers, quality = quantity . Well done.
This motion works pretty well. It finally gives me an idea of what to feel "using the ground up" which I have been hearing for quite some years now. Good job Danny. Great going 👍
I just love your videos. I can't wait to try that move with my driver. I feel I am very close to hitting it really well. I hope this exercise will give me some added swing speed and extra distance.
I can’t believe I have been setting up for my irons so wrong for so long. I have only tried this once so far at the range but I already feel as if I’m hitting through the ball and not at it. If you could just sort out my hybrid setup I could be dangerous. Cheers Danny another easy to understand video.
Awesome advice as always bro! I dont think I ever got round to thanking you Danny, the last piece of advice you gave me finally helped me to fix my 'Dipping hooking drive'. You said "try to cut it" and wow that was the answer, It really was!! You should see my power fade now bro! xD I had a few months off due to a back injury but finally went out again on the local 9 last week. Something I noticed: After a break I had moved away from the constant obsession with improvement (in my mind), I'd stopped thinking about all the drilled swing mechanics and had returned to just having a bit of fun and trying to hit the ball. Really enjoyed the game and didn't really ever think too hard or take too long pondering each shot. We took literally 3 clubs - SW, 7 & putter, and this resulted in lots of fun with little frustration. As amateurs we can get upset because its just so damn hard! But its amazing how much one cares not about all the fine details if you dont obsess about them, remember to just try and have fun! :) Unless your training to be a pro then its just gonna be hard work for ever sorry!!! xD
This is so great, Danny! 🙏 Also the previous video! Helped me a lot with my tendency of hitting the ball from the heel! Such a unique view on weightsift no one has ever done before!
Awesome video Danny, also thanks for including us seniors, most teachers don’t even consider that. I would say the golf community is half or close to seniors. You have helped my game tremendously. Happy Holidays to you. Merry Christmas.
great work! it is a natural move if you've played baseball or thrown a frisbee !! all of us when we're hitting the ball the best it's so easy or feels effortless.. this info might help keep us effortless .. thx!!!
Similar to this, the visual of the "tug of war" to teach the downswing and lag helped me a lot. But, I ended up still not loading up very much, I just focused on pulling through my front foot. This video is helpful because it emphasizes compressing the legs before the club starts on the downward trajectory. I liked how you showed where on the feet you should feel the pressure when loading the power.
Thanks Danny. I think this may help my tendency to fall onto my back foot causing fat and thin shots. I imagine I'll get a few strange looks on the range standing on my socks, but what the hell i it works.
Coach Danny, this is one of the best secrets of golf! Can you pls also recommend any gym or workout equipment to strengthen this pushing down effect? Do I need to work hard on my ankles and knees e.g. weight training to get more power into the toes and heel push pls? I can feel toes and heels alright with or without the socks drill but don't seem to have a lot of power. Thx and appreciate all the good videos you've shared.
@Danny Maude I wish UA-cam allows me to attach photo ^^ .... A much better feeling on the backswing, felt like I could turn 5 degrees more than usual and added around 10-15 yards. A tiny tip but incredible results!! thumbs up
Are you saying there ie weight as well in the lead foot when pushing down in the left ft?or do I shift to right after pushing down in the right? I tend to hit a little behind the ball cuz I’m shifting weight I think our of sync you are a great teacher. Thank u
Nice one Danny, absolutely right how difficult it is to convert knowing or thought into feeling but absolutely the key to improving. You have s great way of explaining how to do this. Thanks again.
I really like the info in today's lesson. Very helpful! Do you have any putting lessons? Putting seams to be where the scoring is either made or lost. Thanks again!!
Another great video. Following your series of videos I have now a feeling/knowledge what I have to do. When I get it, I really get it right ! But my failure is getting to the top of the back swing and having too many swingthoughts of what I need to do so that I rush the downswing and loose all tempo and rhytmn. Any tips or future videos to ensure the downswing starts right
Danny, a bit more of mainstream golf misinformation you have exposed. I have been under the assumption you should load your weight into the right instep foot while transferring into the backswing. You are fastly becoming my golf guru! Dave
Hi Danny. Another great video. I look forward to watching them every Saturday. Do you have any opinions on the training aids that help to keep your elbows from widening during the swing? I saw an ad for the LC-1 compression trainer, which seems to be available only in the USA at the moment, but there is another, more affordable one, called the Longridge Power Band. I think I sometimes get the dreaded chicken wings and wondered if I should ask Santa to leave one of these under the tree.
Keith Riley I’ve got a free training aid for you and it’s called rotation, swing in away that encourages the elbow to rotate to face the ground in the way through and the chicken wing will disappear
Danny Maude Thanks. I did some experimentation at the range, just after I posted my question. I used a belt to constrain my elbows and it was a disaster. I then started swinging freely, with barely any grip in my trail hand (right hand). Things went really well from that point. I just need to relax more on the course.
Danny Maude I understand the need for a slightly descending AoA from your other videos with fairway woods off the turf. Do I still want a slightly descending AoA off the tee with my #3w and #5w? Thank you in advance.
Another brilliant video Danny - one question though, when you apply the downward pressure into heel and toe at the top of the backswing to generate the power, don’t you risk changing the height of the club head and making it more difficult to getting back to the impact point ?
Perfectly timed instruction. My coach helped me develop a good swing path using the frisbee drill. My problem is that half the time my body stops me from following through, keeps the weight on my back foot and resulting in a pull hook. It’s horrible! But I seem to have a mental block that causes this too often. I just stop halfway through the swing! Any tips for overcoming this and encouraging my body weight shift and full body turn? It still feels unnatural.
Ted Inoue if you are not following through then you are have too much tension in the arms and are not letting the club head swing freely. We all do this at times. Feels right to control the swing when we’ve lost control of the golf ball but we should instead let go a lot more. Worth the extra momentum it will be difficult not to follow through
Danny Maude interesting! I hadn’t thought about arm tension. Thinking back, I do think that my best swings come from a loose arm swing where I’m just swinging the club and not obsessing so much about the swing itself. I’ll have to try to keep this in mind. Thanks!
Hey Danny. Love your enthusiasm. One problem I always have is getting enough momentum in the clubhead to carry it all the way to the top of the follow through and further behind my neck. Mike Malaska has videos on this where he maintains that those first few feet in the downswing will be enough to carry it all the way if you push the handle correctly. Mine won't. It will stop before the top of the follow through. I try to keep a lighter grip. Still seems like I have to power it up there with the larger muscles or hands. Any advice for this? Bruce (Canada)
Hi Danny. I'm trying to find a video you put up before where you explain how to start your down swing with t butt of t grip coming around and down rather than straight down which a lot of instruction encourages?
Hello. I've been watching these videos for a short time and have learned some good tips but I do have one question I wish someone could answer with some consistency. I may be a little too technical but what I would like to know is is the downswing more controlled by the right hand and arm or the left hand and arm? I am a right handed golfer and right handed dominant.
In watching other videos and instructions, some teachers say that the lead arm and hand should should control the golf swing and then others will say the right arm and hand. Clarification on this would be greatly appreciated.
Hey Danny. Another great vid! I’m just curious, what increases in club head speed have you experienced with your customers succeeding with these drills? I’m 6’3 tall, quite strong and athletic, but I’m stuck at clubhead speed for 7-iron at around 80mph. I usually hit a low draw. Hcp 17. I «feel» like 90+ mph should be possible based on other golfers physics. Have you sees such increases before?
Erlend Austrheim Drolsum it’s always tricky to see without seeing you. What I would say is make sure your are truly letting go with the club head and arms. When you throw a ball your arm is propelled by the body...it isn’t tense, it reacts to the forces. The same is true in golf. Let go and see what happens
Danny Maude, thanks a lot for replying. So an increase of 10 mph isn’t unheard of? Would be really interesting to see you take a customer through such training with numbers before and after. Not seen many videos like that, and it would be a confidence booster to see that it’s possible 😁
Brilliant video Danny, as always. I am struggling with a push cut with everything starting slightly right of target and then moving further right. As you say, this will help the slicers, will this move help the push cutters as well?
Danny i’ve Some issues with my left knee! It collapses when I start my back-swing. Do you have some exercises and I cannot get rid of it. Would be great!
I have the same problem and my coach has got me using either a football or a range basket between my thighs to stop the inward turn. it also helps being able to feel the pressure in the back foot.
Great teaching as always....many thanks Danny. I suffer from not 'getting through' the ball and usually end up hitting off the back foot. Looking forward to putting your teaching into practice. Please keep up the great work, certainly strikes a chord with me. 👍
Great video. My question is how does this move and weight distribution relate to the jam jar move? I found that the jam jar move was very helpful but I don’t think
Oops! I didn’t really think about the weight distribution. Love your videos, they are easy to understand and very helpful. I am a senior golfer (73) and so my flexibility is not what it used to be. I really appreciate the fact that you talks to golfers that are older. Thanks.
My difficulty in rotating to the left is that when I rotate my left hip my upper body rotates too causing me to swing outside in. I had the same difficulty wth the 5 fundamentals of golf book. The drill that gives me the feeling that I think I need is holding my driver strait up with my left hand on top of it then swinging down with my right arm keeping my shoulders closed
Went to the range today . Brought a can of foot spray . I think I am improving . my shots are no longer going right or left . Also stopped topping the ball . One thing I do when there is that I want to use the far right spot . From this spot I have a Visual reference of an aiming point . I want my shots to head between the 150 and 200 yards flag markers . Very narrow aiming point . Its like a field goal post .
Best instruction on UA-cam
Thanks Jeff very kind

Just another great lesson! Such an important part of the golf motion. I've got to find two pairs of old socks and get to the range! Thanks again!
Michael Martino brilliant, good luck Michael
I found the left toe and right heel pressure on the backswing easy enough to do, but couldn’t get the squat part worked out yet on the downswing. However I found swinging from the top with my weight still on my right heel/foot (10:20) before transferring to my left foot/heel gave me a fantastic strike.
This is Excitingly GOOD ...What A Ham!!!
Hope it helps 😁
Thanks Danny for that excellent instruction on transferring the weight properly. Will definitely work on this.
Perfect, look forward to hearing how it goes
I am weekend golfer. I like your video, easy to understand. I will try to follow your instruction to improve my game. Thank you !! 👍
My pleasure, thanks for the feedback 😁👍
Great teaching. Thanks Danny much appreciated by many. Mark
Danny I've been a subscriber for a long time now and I've watched your channel grow. CONGRATULATIONS on over 200,000 subscribers, quality = quantity . Well done.
Randy Mahony very kind Randy, I feel very lucky
You're such a great teacher Danny, well explained/demonstrated. Thanks a lot!👍🏌️♀️⛳
Thanks for the feedback Susan, keep me updated on your progress
This motion works pretty well. It finally gives me an idea of what to feel "using the ground up" which I have been hearing for quite some years now. Good job Danny. Great going 👍
Tribal Warlord thank you, it’s almost like whatever happens above the feet is caused by the feet
@@DanielMaude Well said 👍
I just love your videos. I can't wait to try that move with my driver. I feel I am very close to hitting it really well. I hope this exercise will give me some added swing speed and extra distance.
Malcolm Jones hope so Malcolm, keep me updated
I can’t believe I have been setting up for my irons so wrong for so long. I have only tried this once so far at the range but I already feel as if I’m hitting through the ball and not at it. If you could just sort out my hybrid setup I could be dangerous. Cheers Danny another easy to understand video.
Thank you Simon, I have a hybrid and long iron video coming soon
Awesome advice as always bro!
I dont think I ever got round to thanking you Danny, the last piece of advice you gave me finally helped me to fix my 'Dipping hooking drive'.
You said "try to cut it" and wow that was the answer, It really was!! You should see my power fade now bro! xD
I had a few months off due to a back injury but finally went out again on the local 9 last week.
Unless your training to be a pro then its just gonna be hard work for ever sorry!!! xD
rusrad74 I think this is brilliant advice and I hope everyone sees this...thanks so much for sharing
Very well explained Danny. This has been my biggest area of development.i love your simple training aids.. lol!
Harold Singh thank you Harold, let me know if you would like to learn anything else over the coming weeks
This is so great, Danny! 🙏 Also the previous video!
Helped me a lot with my tendency of hitting the ball from the heel!
Such a unique view on weightsift no one has ever done before!
Soenke Trzaska thank you, love to hear how you get on
Awesome video Danny, also thanks for including us seniors, most teachers don’t even consider that. I would say the golf community is half or close to seniors. You have helped my game tremendously. Happy Holidays to you. Merry Christmas.
great work! it is a natural move if you've played baseball or thrown a frisbee !!
all of us when we're hitting the ball the best it's so easy or feels effortless..
this info might help keep us effortless .. thx!!!
My pleasure Sven, the game is much easier than I think we all make it at times
Thanks again Danny for the clear concise demonstrations. Much appreciated and hoping my swing will improve
Alan Buchanan my pleasure Alan, hope it helps you develop a feel for the downswing
@@DanielMaude -Working towards :)
Great vid Danny 👍👍
Steve Jenkins thanks Steve, appreciate it
Pure gold Danny 👍🏻👍🏻🏌️🏌️
Hope it helps Scottie
Fabulous never felt that push before I can feel the power immediately👍⛳️🏌️♀️
Great job!
Love the drills. Thanks Danny!
My pleasure Gabriel, keep me posted on your progress
superb video again Danny - brilliant instruction
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you
LOVE IT!!!!! AMAZING SOLID FEEL!!!!
Brilliant Jinah, thank you
Another great video. Will practice this at the range. Thank you.
Perfect, look forward to hearing how you get on
I've started working on that about a week ago. It helps so much
Brian Rizza brilliant, love to hear how you get on
Another great video Danny thank you
David Brett-lavelle thank you, appreciate the feedback
Thanks Danny. I think this may help my tendency to fall onto my back foot causing fat and thin shots. I imagine I'll get a few strange looks on the range standing on my socks, but what the hell i it works.
Peter Molyneux just make sure you keep the weight in the front part of the front foot at the same time
Thanks Danny, i try the next week.... Saludos from Buenos Aires, The french chicken
Nicolas Miquau Thanks Nicolas, have a great weekend
Coach Danny, this is one of the best secrets of golf! Can you pls also recommend any gym or workout equipment to strengthen this pushing down effect? Do I need to work hard on my ankles and knees e.g. weight training to get more power into the toes and heel push pls? I can feel toes and heels alright with or without the socks drill but don't seem to have a lot of power. Thx and appreciate all the good videos you've shared.
From heel transfers to toe ... this is printed in my head ^^ can't wait to try this out at the driving range.
Let me know how you get on 😁
@Danny Maude I wish UA-cam allows me to attach photo ^^ .... A much better feeling on the backswing, felt like I could turn 5 degrees more than usual and added around 10-15 yards. A tiny tip but incredible results!! thumbs up
Brilliant as usual Baron Maude. Socks away!! 😂🤣😂
Paul Clews socks away Paul 😂
As Great as Usual.
Thank you Danny
Happy to help Patrick 😁
Holy shit, throwing a frisbee. You're a genius Danny
Very informing. Great job
Great tip Danny thanks for all you do enjoyed it
My pleasure Terry, thanks for always taking the time to give me some feedback
Thanks for the reminder Danny 😊
Thanks K 😁
Are you saying there ie weight as well in the lead foot when pushing down in the left ft?or do I shift to right after pushing down in the right? I tend to hit a little behind the ball cuz I’m shifting weight I think our of sync you are a great teacher. Thank u
Nice one Danny, absolutely right how difficult it is to convert knowing or thought into feeling but absolutely the key to improving. You have s great way of explaining how to do this. Thanks again.
rayh72 my pleasure, this stuff you can do indoors so there’s no pressure to hit a ball
Enjoyed that. Very informative 👍🏻
Nick Brazier thank you Nick 👍
Brilliant lesson Danny pal 👍
Thanks as always William
I really like the info in today's lesson. Very helpful! Do you have any putting lessons? Putting seams to be where the scoring is either made or lost. Thanks again!!
Thanks for the feedback, if you put putting Danny Maude you will see a couple of my putting videos
Another great video. Following your series of videos I have now a feeling/knowledge what I have to do. When I get it, I really get it right ! But my failure is getting to the top of the back swing and having too many swingthoughts of what I need to do so that I rush the downswing and loose all tempo and rhytmn. Any tips or future videos to ensure the downswing starts right
The key is to do much of this video maybe at home first, then the range, then build a routine where you learn to just let it happen
@@DanielMaude Danny many thanks I will try it at the range on Thursday
Brilliant Dan much appreciated thanks
Ro Bo my pleasure, let me know how it goes
looking forward to going to try this out !! :)
74 love the lessons Danny
Steve McLean thanks for taking the time to write Steve
Mr Malde, you are very good indeed. Am still struggling with fairway woods ...help please
Help me~
I will create a video for fairway woods
Danny Maude I understand the need for a slightly descending AoA from your other videos with fairway woods off the turf. Do I still want a slightly descending AoA off the tee with my #3w and #5w?
Thank you in advance.
Good lesson.
What about the players that raise both heels in the moment of impact, like Louis Oosthuizen?
Some do this at the point of interest as they explode upwards but the key is not to get off the trail heel too early
Another brilliant video Danny - one question though, when you apply the downward pressure into heel and toe at the top of the backswing to generate the power, don’t you risk changing the height of the club head and making it more difficult to getting back to the impact point ?
mhari1205 it’s certainly something we have to time but it’s one of those natural ways we use to help the club head swing faster
Thanks!
Ted Inoue look forward to hearing how you get on
Really good! Thanks!
Thanks you Jan, hope it helps you start the downswing correctly
역시 환상적인 코스네요~멋집니다~
Hi Danny. I'm trying to find a video you put up before where you explain how to start your down swing with t butt of t grip coming around and down rather than straight down which a lot of instruction encourages?
not sure about this one, any more details?
Hey Danny great video. You sure that was your daughter's skateboard and not your grandads ha ha or was that another video. Keep them coming
Alex Demner funny, I should have hit a shot from it, that would have been a giggle
I think the reason is the answer is very individual, some feel it in the left some in the right
I think it would be incorrect to say one or the other leads the golf swing as many tour players feel it differently
Yes, try and keep it pointing outwards as much as you can as opposed to moving inwards
Thanks Danny going to try it tomorrow 🤞
Sound easy 😂
Hè Danny just been to the drivingrange and i’ve the feeling it realy was that simple! Thanks very much for this tip!
I have the same problem and my coach has got me using either a football or a range basket between my thighs to stop the inward turn. it also helps being able to feel the pressure in the back foot.
It also works if you feel like you're pushing down with your trail shoulder from the top of the backswing.
Love it! thanks for sharing Peter
Great vid as usual. I’d love to see you try to hit the ball on the skateboard 🤣🤣🤣
Great teaching as always....many thanks Danny.
I suffer from not 'getting through' the ball and usually end up hitting off the back foot. Looking forward to putting your teaching into practice. Please keep up the great work, certainly strikes a chord with me. 👍
Tellson James thank you, really appreciate you taking the time to write... have a great weekend
The key is to sense that your weight is still in the toe of the front foot and the heel of the trail in transition
I think this is a great idea Larry, stick with this
