However, since Dan was insistent in telling, however, wasn't doing it without Phil's consent, it's obvious that it's something that only Phil had been affected by in some questionable way. With those ideas in your mind, Dan then offered for Phil to explain the situation instead of him as to avoid 'saying anything bad' in Phil's standards, because he presumedly cannot empathise with the situation, making it inevitably a completely foreign experience since we all know Dan is a master of awkwardness. And when Phil started explaining the thing, Dan was making the 'uhh sure' face that says this isn't exactly what happened but it's not false on face value. Which raises questions, what was Phil reluctant to share? Why was Dan okay with it but Phil was obviously uncomfortable by the notion of us knowing about it? Or is it that Dan simply doesn't care about whatever it is and Phil is just trying to hold on whatever self-worth he thought he had in THAT area (whatever it is)? Since Phil also told dan they should at least refrain from saying names (presumable of 'the guy'), is it something that could affect other people badly, or is Phil just reluctant to spread information that's reveal will eventually be linked to him?
