This was a really good animation. Public bathrooms are the absolute worst. Knowing that hundreds of other people come in day in and day out…sitting in the same spot. But the fear of people hearing your bowels releasing fecal and or urinal matter into the toilet is a whole different level.

This is great but adult swims seems to be on another level hopefully it doesn't disappoint
thats not ito's style buddy, the mouths look different so do the eyes, he did get some of the silly haircuts but no this is far from it.

This feels like anime, with the style, and family guy with the way some of it is animated. Its beautiful

Only a minute in and the visual inspiration from (or at least similarity to) artists like Junji Ito is apparent in the details of the animation, especially in the close-ups and certain poses. Great stuff. :)

This taught me that part of the fear of horror is that you don't fully understand what's happening or why, yet you still suffer the consequences of it. Top notch.
Ehhh it can come off as needlessly sadistic. I much prefer when the hero suffers the consequences of their own actions and that's represented through the horror.

To take such a subject that any could hardly be seen as scary and with the huge inspirational style of Junji ito and anxiety turned to the extreme. And it is how real and raw it almost feels at times that really makes it work so well. A wonderfully and downright horrifying visual form of experiencing what such people possibly feel. Papameat's writing is astounding and plenty actual series potential just from this and Melvin alone.
I don't know how I missed this one!? This was better than any of the animated Junji Ito stories I've seen,. They all do his work such a disservice.

I saw in a video I can't remember, that people will lie or exaggerate when telling a story, not to make it more impressive, but to properly convey the original feelings of the protagonist to the public.

Just watched Meat's Junji Ito review, and I gotta say, its so awesome to watch that back to back with this, cause he literally does everything in this that he thought the anime should have done. It's black and white, drawings have that Junji Ito level of detail, the more still frames still have some movement to keep the momentum of the scene. Awesome work on every level.
I love the Parodies, but I think it would be awesome to see something like this become a running series, mundane situations in B&W that devolve into Junji Ito style horror.

I used to have OCD so bad I almost died several times. It began when I laid in bed to sleep, but put pressure on my abdomen... I felt my bladder. I got up to pee several times and eventually after days I had this annoying thought "you don't wanna have to wake up and pee... SO STOP DRINKING!"
I would go 2 days at a time without any liquid. On each 3rd day I'd drink, then stay awake all night.
I even started using catheters, same one repeatedly (my bladder muscles got weak as a result of an autoimmune disease).
Took me dang 14 years to overcome that stupid OCD.

I was laughing at first because I could relate to this issue. I've gotten over it because my workplace usually has clean bathrooms that aren't crowded at certain times. But then I stopped laughing when I saw the horror of those monsters. Good show meat canyon....good show.
I relate to this issue because I can't stand the thought of me touching a public toilet, it disgusts me considering how unhealthy it could be. The thing about restrooms being crowded is the second issue which fortunately I don't mind as much.

People are saying junji ito and I see it for sure but it also feels sort of tribute-y to jeremie Perrin, the director of the dye-fantasy music video. This might be my favorite meatcanyon video really hope he eventually does more non caricature animation this is phenomenal
