Shipping can be slow for this. If ordered on Amazon it will ship from USA Airbrush supply anyway.

    Createx paint used was:
    Wicked Black
    Opaque White
    Wicked Detail Moss Green
    Auto Air Metallic (Fine) White
All can be purchased here spraygunner.com/paints-for-ai...
The brushes I am using are Badger Patriot 105 with a .5 mm (Detail) needle/nozzle combo, and a (very dirty and misbehaving) Iwata Eclipse HPCS with the standard .35mm nozzle/needle combo. Both excellent brushes I use interchangeably.
Mesh for scale pattern is from your basic shower poof you can buy at Walmart. Cross-stitch hoops are also available in the craft and fabric section of Walmart.
Thanks for watching and I hope you learn something and value my content! Feedback is welcomed.

Here in SC our black crappie have a blueish green on the back, and slightly down the sides, our white crappie also has a lighter version on their back. That bluish green has a translucent shine, and to get that color just right has been very difficult for me, I’m to picky I know, but I like to match as best I can, our Bass in our lakes here are very very educated, there fished hard 12 months a year!
I’m waiting on some color shift paints that take that black and shift it almost to the perfect translucent bluish green, we will see!
Sometimes taking a break is much needed, I love painting lures, but don’t want it as a job, here in my part of SC, I don’t paint much after April, because I get really small fruit fly type bugs in my epoxy, epoxy draws then like a light at night, I’m starting to paint again, now, I do miss it!

Absolutely experiment with colors to match your native waters! I have seen photos of crappie with beautiful colors like that! This is the perfect hobby in the months where fishing is slow. I hope you can learn something from my videos 🙂
