I’m really enjoying this new theme. It’s some of the most realistic space stuff Lego have done and I think it really helps get younger people engaged with the 2nd space golden age!

I agree! I wish this was on the market back in the days when I bought my first space sets!
I personally really love the fact that they included a couple of water pieces at the base of the launch site set. It's really simple, but it gets kids thinking about the more specific details of these things. I assume they might know that things make less sound when they're underwater, so perhaps they'd make the connection.
You put so much effort and hard work into this channel, and then still manage to be sane enough to give a fair and unbiased review. Keep up the good work, man!
I agree. I think this set is a must and is a bargain, especially in the US. This space wave is just so fun. I'm gonna have to stick a load of these satellites on the ceiling above Brick Nottingham!
The Service Mission is one of 2 current sets I actually own and I was pleasantly surprised how cute and easy-to-modify it is. I didn't like the whole storing the satellite function so with just a handful of added pieces I managed to put but engines on the back one above the other, and the spoiler pieces clipped vertically make up the "heat shield" around them. I suggest you add the Marvel power blast pieces as exhaust flames for a more dramatic effect.
I love both of these sets but the polybag is what got me started on this subtheme. I was unsure about the whole space subtheme and I was even unsure if I should get this polybag but when I put it together I loved it and took a closer look at all the city space sets and now I’m planning on collecting most of them.
It's odd that this wave's solar panels aren't all printed like this. you'd think a solar panel print would be very useful beyond this wave. as well as the green energy implications that would come with it. also i like the looks of this little shuttle!
When looking at the shuttles in this them (5:15), the one on the farthest right reminds me of the shuttles seen in Armageddon staring Bruce Willis & Ben Aflac, while the shuttle second in from the left looks like a crossover of Mars Mission & the Millano from Guardians of the Galaxy but only single pilot of course. 😆LOL!
I've actually found every single Lego City space sets at a local TRU here in Canada! They're out now, just to let fans know! Cool reviews, Jang! But I seem to miss your background music during your reviews, don't mind the clattering of pieces, that's fine. Thumbs up!
It occurred to me when you showed the head underneath... Wouldn't it be nice if LEGO started producing (since I don't think they exist yet, from what I recall...) double-sided heads with a 'male' face on one side and 'female' face on the other, instead of one or the other?
The vehicle reminds me of one of the concepts of the orbital space vehicles that nasa has like maybe the XCOR Lynx or maybe the Dream Chaser or some of them orbital vehicles
My only but with the ship is that they miss something to put the tool that comes with the set, I can accept that don't come with landing gear. But for $$$ is ok and very nice. Love the minifigure.
@@ratbat1072 because the best way to put it other than that is: "I only saw Jang's comment and it made me wonder how many people are commenting first right now" and tbh that's just kinda bland
Hey Jang! I just got my own UA-cam channel and I'm so excited to finally be able to subscribe to your channel and comment on your videos, though I hadn't subscribed I've been watching your videos since 2015! I'm a long time fan, and I love your content, I can't wait for your next video, see ya!
Hey Jang, good review I am wondering whether the LEGO CREATOR UFO CAROUSEL set is out in your region yet. No rush but i haven't seen a review of it yet anywhere.
So it looks like Chase McCain just couldn't give up the space life after bringing down Rex Fury. Or maybe he is working with the space program *undercover* and still looking for Forrest Blackwell!
I love this little shuttle but ugh why is almost every other set able to dock but this isn't? I feel like that should've been the number one mantra of these line, ALL SETS CAN CONNECT SOMEHOW. (Except for the rovers obviously). Missed opportunity... and man that polybag satellite is gorgeous. Too bad they're not sold here :(
60224 was really sad to build and look at, a bunch of custom parts slapped together... weird that you didn't critique that. Any news on just the minifigs?
I modded my 60224 because I didn't like that the cockpit window didn't have a good seal to what was under neath it. I also made changes to the inside of the cockpit, the wing tips a bit and the back-side satellite compartment. Jang, I'm just curious how you purchased 30365, Ebay or Bricklink? Since it's a polybag, I haven't come across any retail store selling it.

I am honestly not liking these dpuble reviews, I understand that the satellite polybags will be a Gift with Purchase (GWP) now in July, guess when I am making my Space set order. The ship in the Satellite Mission is similar than the Lunar Space Station and the Satellite can also be acquired separately.

good idea cutting in footage from your purebuilds/speed builds to give a taste of what that content is like :D

Is that head from the spaceship chase Mcains?

That's what was thinking. A new generation of LEGO fans are going to bring this series up as the standard by which they judge all future space sets.
kikivoorburg Same :)

My favourite lego series yet!

As a KSP player I’m gonna love this series to death just like the first series
SAME im starting to collect them
I also Play ksp, now o want to make replicas od these sets :)
Ooh, that clattering of pieces is brilliant, I love it.
Reminds me of the old LEGO Creator PC game from 1998
Lol the "whole nother level' thing had me dying. Keep up the good work, constant improvement as always!
Nice little sets. I don't need them, but they're nice.
I see Chase is doing well as a spaceman after being replaced by a newer younger cop.
I agree. I think this set is a must and is a bargain, especially in the US. This space wave is just so fun. I'm gonna have to stick a load of these satellites on the ceiling above Brick Nottingham!
I really like that set man the more sets you get the more happy i get

I got these for my sons this Christmas. Not disappointed at all. The little men are ridiculously detailed. The build is super clean and very easy
Love this new space theme. I think I'm going to get this set and possibly the polybag

Wow, Chase actually left the force?
(Yeah, it was obvious from the moment he went kayaking.)
GachaBoy12 he’s undercover as an astronaut, there’s a huge scam going on in the space station and it’s up to him to save everyone

when you put the two satellites together, you get a microscale space station

I thinked that This shuttle can be used as a resupply craft for the space station
I just picked up the $10 set myself. Really like it too.
I can't wait to see your robots using the 1x1 round printed tile
Nice video! I actually might get that set
The little shuttle reminded me of the farscape module from the tv series so I got a couple
Really wish I could find the polybag. Haven't seen it anywhere yet.
Can you do a city tour.
I want this because it reminds me of the orbital space vehicles like the dream chaser

Whats the point of having the "me" role when theres no one else being represented in the comment?

I wish they would've reused the trans. orange canopy/cockpit style like they used in Mars Mission. Bummer!😞

How nice set friend how much do you cost?
The smaller one costs $4 and the larger one costs $10. The prices in euro and pound should be close to that same point for these smaller sets.
0:48 chase mccain?
...whaaa?!...stickers on the bigger sets?! I mean BIG sets...and print on bag set? BAG SET?! LEGO CMON!
Exactly
Since everyone seems to hate stickers, for tile stickers I apply some invisible tape on the sticker

Amazing little set, except stickers :(
No docking? Makes no sense as this would logically be based at the space station, not on Earth.
Not for most service missions. Obviously a craft as small as this would need a launch system, but i see no reason it'd need to stopover.
Double reviews, I see?
