I think Les has been looking for a project like this for a while and Seans voice puts an authenticity to the 60 psychedelia sound that's just so cool. And the fact that there are all just amazing musicians.🖤❤️
Les Claypool is the best player of all time, anyone who says bass is an easy instrument and it has no emotion and is easy to play, has to listen to this guy
When I put this album in my cd player and this song begins to 'sound', my kids ask: "Is that The Beatles?" Of course, they've already listened to my fab four CDs collection. I try to do my best to save their music taste.
Greetings from three years into the future... I still haven't found a SINGLE person that I know that has EVER listened to this band, they are still relatively obscure. It'd be awful if I woke up tomorrow, opened Tik Tok and saw a bunch of 15 year old girls dancing to this... Kinda like Andy Schauff

About that familiarity ............. er ............... as my teens were from mid 60's to early 70's, there's nothing unfamiliar in this song. Beatles, Foyd and Yes all mashed up. Even the title is a nod towards Chris Squire (aka 'the fish'). Deffinitely entertaining, but more retro than creative.

If you're listening to his music and hear random string noise, it's him giving the whammy bar hell and the strings slap the frets.
I thought that their debut album was hard to defeat but their second one is a slow burn. Getting better every time you listen. It grows on you.

My thoughts exactly
Second album is the one that sold me on this project which I initially dismissed without giving it a chance. Lime and Limpid Green is perfect too
