Okay, I hella experimented with the wet hair look for prom, for WEEKS. This is what I think works best to make it look cute but not greasy: Add waves to your hair. I use the drybar triple barrel but I've see curling irons work too. Then, apply a thin hair oil to the middle of your hair and ends. NEVER apply to the tops or you'll look greasy. There's a spray that you can spray on the top portion of your hair, so it blends with the oil-shine of the rest of your hair! Just don't ever use water to do the look, and make sure your initial dry waves are REALLY defined if you want that strong wavy look. You can also add mousse to the process to give your hair extra grip!!!

Add more product to your hair! If you only do a little it will look more greasy rather than the wet hair look :)

honestly this is one of the best dewy/wet makeup looks I've seen! so so pretty! I am oily but will attempt to try this!!
The story you told about the brand trip with the poc reminded me of that dote coachella controversy where they roomed all the white, more popular girls into a nice room and gave the girls of color a smaller room that wasnt as nice and didn't even have beds for the girls. They were all sleeping on sofas while the other girls slept in bunk beds.

i love thissss- i'm super oily around my t-zone especially but i love the product you used for highlight/glossy cheekbones. whenever i try dewy looks that rely on a wetter base and little to no powder, it doesn't last me more than an hour or two. this is a great way to get a long lasting "wet" look! the lashes too. i luvvvvv

for the wet hair look u need to put hair gel in your towel dry hair. distribute it evenly and use a comb to put everything in place 🤍

Lately my skincare/makeup for my busy schedule has been goats milk soap, Missha's time revolution essence, Cerave moisturizer, & a sunscreen STICK. For makeup I've been applying hair gel as eyebrow gel/eyelash mascara, and adding a little blush/lip color. it gets the job done under 10 minutes!
this sounds like such a great light makeup routine! i would recommend using a liquid sunscreen too tho since they usually provide more protection than sunscreen sticks 🕺🏻
