Tbf it’s prob just frustration with his own performances after the last few games and it boils over when someone pipes up and says something. He gave the ball away 28 times in that match 28! and he still played the full 90 minutes

Fair play to him, more players should do that and give their fans a reality check. I don’t think any other team is giving more to their cause than Newcastles squad, they have come a very long way in such a short space of time and it’s down to players like Trippier and Joelinton that they are where they are. The PSG result was a freak, they aren’t gonna happen EVERY game. The Toon fans need a bit of perspective!!!
I think Trippier was seriously underrated until his move to Newcastle, where he, imo, became the key component to Eddie Howes transformation of a unremarkably average club into one of the league’s best sides in a short amount of time. His dead ball threat is killer, he has pinpoint precision from crosses and his only weakness is his defensive capability, often being beaten by speed or attempting simulation to escape the situation. He’s a great leader, has a plethora of desirable qualities and has been key to the turnaround Newcastle have made

As a Spurs fan, I give mad props for Kieran Trippier to stand up for himself and for the team. I also will admit Newcastle is quite a formidable team despite having the same or more injuries to Spurs (maybe less considering the Starting XI for them).
