    Lloyd- super video my friend. I just picked up, this past Aug., a very nice DT10XTrap, with 32" barrels. I love it. I originally owned a sporter and trap model many years ago- and missed having a DT10, until watching your review a few times earlier this spring. I had the sear springs replaced, and found an extra trigger at another shoot this year too. Wonderful review- and you are spot on about these guns being true workhorses, and true value for the money. Thanks again Lloyd- all the best to you and your bride my friend. Regards from Missouri, USA.

    Great quality review nice to see someone that that knows quality the gun feels like it is alive when the shooter mounts the gun to the shoulder

    Lloyd, I know this is obviously an older review/video, but truly worthy for shooters to watch and learn. The DT10 is an exceptional gun for the money. I owned 2 over the years, both a trap model and sporting model. Wished I still had them both. Like you mentioned, these are money well spent on a second hand version, as you will NOT lose on them. They are really built well, and keep in mind, they have detachable triggers, which also break crisp and pulls are consistently great without creep. I found them to be very light recoiling, and have superb dynamics to boot. Good job sir, keep up the great work. Your fan from USA. Rob G. in Missouri

      Thanks for watching Rob, the DT10 is still a top performer if you can find one for the right money in good condition.

    When I used to shoot at Bywell my dream gun was a Dt10, I had a 682 Gold E. My one and only trip back to England included an afternoon with mates at Bywell on the skeet layout. The 1st 25 i was using a kreighoff and didn't like the high rib and shot a 21 or 22. Then switched to another mates Dt10 and shot a 75 straight. Lots of water under the bridge and looking to get back into clays and upgrade from my browning Gp if all goes to plan. Unless buy a car or another 9mm! Ps Australia

    There's something about the DT-10 that I don't understand. What's the difference between the DT10 trap and the DT10 x-trap? What does the X before the 'trap' mean? Is it just the rib?

    • @lloydyp

      It all depends on how well the work has been done. I've seen guns that look like they left the factory after custom work, and others that look like a yokel with an angle grinder set about them. You would need to inspect and test before committing.

    • @lloydyp
      @lloydyp  5 років тому

      Yeah, they feel quite different to shoot. The Beretta as a completely different action profile to the superposed based guns, if you shoot them back to back you will understand. IMO the Beretta is nicer to shoot in the way it handles recoil, but this is subjective.
