- Just as I can't get enough prunes, I can't get enough diver watches. In this State of the Collection, I examine my state of mind through the prism of my Seiko Captain Willard, SPB143, SBBN049 Tuna, SLA023, and SLA055.

I need to prune my collection, a new to me SLA055 turns up tomorrow, picked up a SLA049 recently and the SPB149....so very similar to your SOTC however I've a few more that just gotta go...SRPH61, SPB185, SBP207, SBDC053...all have to fine a new home to pay for the latest splurge, it will be nicer having fewer (but better) watches...I just cant wait for the postie tomorrow

What do I think? You’re making some smart dietary choices! I had a smoothie for breakfast and a big salad for lunch/dinner. No alcohol, that’s it. Love that SLA055. It’s stunning.
The secret is to just pick one watch on one strap configuration, which could also be a bracelet, and just go with it. Wear it with everything. After a while, you begin to see it as your “signature” watch and look. Past a certain point, you won’t be able to imagine yourself wearing anything else. But this only works if your watch is versatile enough to pair with whatever clothing you wear most of the time.

Oh man, this video hits home hahaha I’m also a huge Seiko and fiber one cereal addict. I prefer mixing mine with toasted berry crisp Kashi but I’m 100% trying it with prune juice now

Prunes huh? The secret ingredient in Dr. Pepper, allegedly. I said it before, the role of genetics in addiction is undeniable. I too have a bad prune habit. Most notably Chinese prunes; mui in Cantonese. It's an acquired taste. There have to be other prune UA-camrs but Jeff, your the first one I've seen.

If it were me, I’d sell all but the captain willard or the tuna. I see the tuna as your signature watch because you’ve had it the longest and suits you the best imo
My answer to the quartz/tuna (aaahh) dilemma is the MM300. It put out the quartz/tuna fire (mostly). The Seiko Tuna should always have had mechanical and sapphire. There, I said it.
Don’t agree much on the mechanical part, it’s an unapologetic tool watch and quartz fits.
Now as an adult, I find prunes get me excited 😀

Cool video, as always! I really enjoy your videos. I have one question... If you was wearing you 62 mas recreation yesterday, and your tuna shows Tuesday 25th, your 62mas should be also set on 25th. But not only your SPB, maybe all since all your watches are running with same time. Also, there is no Tuesday 25th on May... So maybe you recorded the video last week of April? I'm overthinking, I know 😅 But I'm also a watch obsessed, and I should have all dates under control 😂 These are the dates in your watches:

Too much of anything is never good, whether that be most food types or watches. Prunes are high in sugar and calories so be careful eating too many before bed Jeff.
