What part of Surprise is best? Marley Park? We are noticing there isn't any inventory in Verrado, or diversity either. Moving from Seattle with a young family.
Because Suprise is up and coming vs most done, we chose Suprise. The Taiwain semiconductor plant and other tech growth, not to mention the 303 growth. It appears to be the distribution hub for Amazon, Walmart, UPS etc? A lot going on!! Gilbert is established and seems more expensive in comparison.
We moved from Southern California to Surprise three years ago. A lot depends on your budget, where you'll work and the activities. You'll get more bang for your buck in the West Valley (Surprise, Peoria) but there seems to be more activities in the Gilbert-Chandler area in the East Valley. Surprise is definitely growing as there is a lot of growth around Prasada Gateway (near Loop 303 and Waddell) as well as the Civic Center. There's a great mixture of older communities along with newer communities.
I just moved to AZ from Houston almost a yr ago and they are VERY Racist, moreso than the south. Not the friendliest place. Beautiful state as in scenery.
Surprise Arizona is a great place to live!

Yes several.
I raised my daughter there years ago when it was truly nice and not overcrowded. Now it's a hot mess! Glad I moved away.

There’s no diversity in Arizona anywhere unless you go to Southern Phoenix, South Phoenix, but nowhere in the burbs

I’m from Baltimore, and what I absolutely love about living in Arizona are the gun laws. I love the “ winter “ weather as well. Summers are brutal

Surprise is much better! Gilbert is questionable these days!
Gilbert is much more dense than Surprise and more urban. They’re still building In Surprise.
